After the Royals bunted home a run last night, Farmio said he was going down on the field today to make sure it was regulation distance from home to 1st. DJ responded with "really" Farmio "oh yea, I'm serious".

I love Luke Hochevar. He's got great stuff. Not sure if he'll ever figure out how to pitch but if he does he will absolutely dominate.

KC's roster has some nice offensive players, although Hosner has busted out this season. Where is all the pitching though? Hochevar isn't very good, do they have anything else that's coming quick before they have to trade all of their hitters?

The Royals thought they had a lot of pitching in the minors but they either got hurt or haven't developed. Danny Duffy and John Lamb both had surgery and Chris Dwyer and Mike Montgomery who just got demoted to AA haven't developed. They do have Jake Odorizzi who they acquired in the Greinke trade who looks pretty good but they're going to need a whole hell of a lot more than him.

'They' said the Royals had the greatest minor league system ever a couple years ago and look where it got them. Just goes to show how volitile a minor league system can be and why it's incredibly stupid to believe what the so called experts say is gospel.

They have some stuff relievers. I don't think they've developed a SP since... Greinke.
