Does Goff do the gasping for air laugh and then turn his microphone on or does he turn his microphone on and then do the gasping for air laugh?
Illinois Center for Broadcasting students want to know.

Goff has been awful for a while now. Everything is all you guys think this or all you guys said that. It's never a discussion or even fun. I guess failing at being a fireman and Bulls reporter gives you a moon sized chip on your shoulder.

Mac and Spiegs coming to the Score was Goff's worst nightmare.

Crackers that fight back!!!!

For too many years Goff has had crackers at the Score running scared. Not anymore.

Spiegel only has balls when he is safely under the Mac umbrella. They're Mac's balls because we all know Spiegel has, and is, a Caller Bob. I'm sure Spiegs thinks he is safe when attacking Goff because Matt is part of Team Mac. Now, while Goff might technically be a member of Team Bernstein, Dan B. has no use for him unless it's to validate Bernsie's opinions on black culture. But Mackeyfish has some tender feelings for Spiegel. He has taken him under his wing and will stand up for Meat so this gives Matt a certain level of radio tough guy confidence. Do you think Bernstein would ever defend Goff? Fuck no.

Speigs is a tribesman from the northeast, hardly a cracker. Mac is a one generation removed Arkansas hillbilly. True crackers are from northern Florida and southern Georgia.

I know. I throw around "cracker" liberally here like Goff does with his sound drops for white people. Goff thinks we're all crackers. :(

Since you seem to have Goff's ear, you should let him know that. Perhaps, he can pas it on to the rest of Team Bernstein.

Beardown, you couldn't be more wrong on this one.

Spiegel was laughingly referring to how Goff doesn't like to start controversy, he likes to further it. Just reacting to the drop that was just played.

And somehow this results in Spiegel throwing a shot across the bow and Goff walking around with a chip on his shoulder.

You're getting MiniDitka-ish with this shit.

That's true. Doesn't mean Spiegel was wrong. Spiegs owes a lot to Mac. Bernstein doesn't owe shit to Goff. That's the difference.

I stand by it. Spiegel sounded annoyed by Goff's behavior. The chip on Goff's shoulder was evident before this episode. That's been there for a long time.

It's not just what happened today. Wasn't there some twitter shit between Goff and Spiegel? Pretty sure I read that here. Plus I've heard Goff take some subtle shots at Spiegel on B&B.

So don't tell me what I know and what I don't know!!!! I KNOW THE LAW!!!!!! (This is a line from "A Few Good Men" that doesn't really apply here but I wanted to use it anyway. :P )

Your whole premise is flawed though. As Ive said before, it was criticisms that got me blocked in the first place. So obviously I had to be critical BEFORE the block

Ok, that may be true, but I'm not going to allow you to get away with not looking at the fact that you are much more critical of Goff, post-block.

This is just like Steve Stone and the Cubs.

Mully has had issues with Goff too.

You know what's happening, don't you?

Goff is becoming the new Murph of the station. Ain't that a kick in the head.

That was pretty good considering the talent on the field that day.

Maya Gavin also had issues with Goff, and that's why she left.
Goff and Joe Cain had a fight in the studio, and that's why Joe Cain is no longer working early mornings.
Beardown's not that only one with an inside "viewpoint?".

Wait a second.

Maya Gavin? I guess that could be true.

I gotta call bullshit on the other one. Joe Cain? Wasn't Goff a kid when Cain was there? Cain was a millionaire. I doubt Goff would have any influence on him staying or leaving. Goff was a nothing at the station at that time. Did Goff produce Joe Cain's shows?

I don't even remember Cain working at the Score. Just the stories that are told about him by B&B every now and then.
