Raw 1,000 is officially upon us, and the stakes have never been higher for everyone involved. Brock Lesnar will return to a WWE ring to answer Triple H’s SummerSlam challenge in person, likely with his devilish mouthpiece, Paul Heyman, in tow. The Rock will also make his grand return for the first time since April 2, and will probably have a few words for the WWE Champion … which may end up being a different Superstar at the end of the night since John Cena has stated he’ll cash in his Money in the Bank WWE Championship Match contract on the embattled CM Punk before the night is out. Oh, and by the way, Raw is three hours, starting at 8/7 CT, not just this Monday but every Monday from now on!

I think the wedding should have been moved to a later time, so much going on tonight, could get lost in the shuffle.

Listening to Meltzer on the LAW last night, Raw could be an extra 15-20 minutes tonight.

Do we get a CM Punk Heel turn tonight and is this the start of the big angle they talked about recently.

Really excited.

Wedding should be normal. No BS.

Vince's big angle is Nexus3.0

The HHH/Stephanie wedding was hilarious. Why no BS?

Cause the weddings never go off without a hitch.

It'd stun everyone.

I think the guy that would shock everybody with Heath Slater is the Ultimate Warrior.

Hopefully it's not the Taker spot is this.

In the wedding, the name I've been hearing is Kane.

I guess for this one, anybody is invited, no matter what's happend in the past.

I have read that most of Slater's previous opponents will be at Raw, like DDP, Sid, and Vader. Don't know if they will be used though.

Also Green Day will be there too, could be in the crowd though.

Only other match I seen besides Cena vs Punk is Christian defending his belt vs who , I do not know.

Wouldn't mind a debuting Ambrose, but it might be better to hold that off until after tonight's overloaded mess. People have also mentioned using him to interrupt the wedding, but I don't care for that idea since he's better off as a loner and since it would mean he or Bryan would have to be a face.

I'd be very hesitant to debut someone tonight, unless it's in a Nexus v3 type thing. There's a reason new people debut after WM. Too much going on tonight to get over.

Throwing this out there...

Stone Cold comes out during Cena/Punk, stuns Punk, costs him the title, beginning the set up of Punk/Austin at WM.

- WWE has reached out to a ton of former talents over the past few months and a source joked that they are flying in anyone who still has a phone. While some of the former stars will have a purpose on tonight's RAW 1000 episode, expect a lot of overkill with some of them.

F4Wonline.com reports that the following names are confirmed for tonight's show. Besides these names, expect some others to appear:

Shawn Michaels, JBL, Psycho Sid, Diamond Dallas Page, Vader, Roddy Piper, Mick Foley, The Rock, Bret Hart, Jim Ross, Gene Okerlund, Mae Young, Steve Blackman, Alicia Webb (Ryan Shamrock), Sean "X-Pac" Waltman, Sgt. Slaughter, Jim Duggan, Road Warrior Animal, Slick, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg BG James and Bob Backlund.
* Will the grassroots campaign for William Regal as GM work? Who is the new GM?
Kelly Kelly will make an appearance tonight.

- The recent WWE live event matches between Zack Ryder and Dolph Ziggler have received rave reviews from both fans and people backstage.

All credit to Prowrestling.com

Also Christians opponent will be picked by the fans

Follow it with a Rock Bottom for Cena shortly after, then you might have something. I don't know that it's good, but it's something .... gets the bridge built pretty quickly for two marquee matches.

Ok no more of this thread for me until after the show. I want to be somewhat surprised by the show.

Who posted spoilers? Just posting posits and fake booking ideas that would be entertaining and/or intelligent, thus devoid of any chance of making the final product.

1) Flair
2) Kane
3) Rhodes beats Christian.

I also pray that Shane O'Mac shows up.

Fair enough; "ignore list" was the culprit here.

You can only take one from the list. Either Shane-o-Mac showing up, or a new permanent Raw GM is announced.

sane I am just throwing out the GM thing.
