Not sure where your Delgado hate is coming from. Nothing he's done in professional baseball has indicated he'll be any worse than what he's projected to be...a #2 starter that might have a #1 type year every now and then

Im fine with a player using their rights, but once you ok a place, that should be it.

If it's the refusal of an extension that is holding it up, then I don't blame him.

It's one thing to agree to go to ______________________ for the rest of the season, but entirely different to then have to go there for x-amount of additional years because the team wants you to.

Another thing i have read in a few places is that he may very well agree to the deal today but he was being all pissy about it yesterday because the Braves leaked the deal before he was approached by the Cubs to sign off on his 10 5 NTC. That is quite possibly one of the stupidest things to get insulted over and delay the trade. If you are going to sign it then sign the damn thing.
