These people have no brains and no scrotum.

I liked what I saw...from the top 6. They had all 10 hits. The bottom had zippo. Let's see if the bottom produces tonight. Before last night, they've had a lot of trouble scoring runs, let alone driving them home with runners in scoring position. 1 or 2 runs per game won't get it done.

bastard schedule makers put the Twinkies / Sox game at the Cell when I'm an hour and half from Target Field. Curse you!

SHARK, if half of the lineup (1-5 or 6-9) gets 10 hits and 7 runs, they are going to win a lot of games. Beckham went 0fer because he's not that good, not because he was hitting 9th.

Don't get me started on Beckham, Frank. If the White Sox had a better option at 2B, Beckham probably would be benched right now, and not just for a game.

Actually, there is a little news from the ballpark. The Trib's Mark Gonzales & CSNChicago.com's Dan Hayes report that A.J. Pierzynski has a right oblique injury that affects his swing. He did get hit by a pitch last night in the White Sox winner over the Twins. A DL stint could be in the cards for the first time in A.J.'s career. Currently day-to-day, but stay tuned on this one.

Wouldn't shock me one bit if Flowers caught the next 2 games. That day off definitely helps Pierzynski when the White Sox start yet another road trip in Texas Friday.

Jesus wept, how many homers are the Sox pitchers going to surrender this year? It's either nothing or a home run.

4 for 4 is about as good as it is going to get for him on any given night. This could be the inning -- w/ only one out, I have no problem with that move.

I don't like taking Paulie out there either. Hopefully they do not need his at bat in the 9th.

Beckham ending the inning, would have been nice to get a couple more there.

I just didn't understand the move. I could see it if he were the guy on second.

Not anymore. Thanks to Rongey's postgame last night, my stance has cooled considerably. Speaking of the lineup, not much change to report, except Dunn's at 1B & Konerko's DH-ing this afternoon. Jake Peavy goes for the Sox, while Nick Blackburn goes for the Twins. Sweep time? Anyway, here's RV's lineup today...

30 Alejandro De Aza CF (L)
20 Kevin Youkilis 3B (R)
32 Adam Dunn 1B (L)
14 Paul Konerko DH (R)
51 Alex Rios RF (R)
10 Alexei Ramirez SS (R)
24 Dayan Viciedo LF (R)
17 Tyler Flowers C (R)
15 Gordon Beckham 2B (R)

Why did it take Rongey's postgame for you to cool your stance? You mean the fact that the scored 18 runs in their last 2 games did nothing to cool your stance? You had to wait for Rongey to dumb it down even further?

I'm going to simply enjoy this ballgame and hope for a White Sox sweep over a bad Twins' team. The lineup will take care of itself.

Nick Blackburn blows. He's given up 97 hits in 70 innings before this shelling today.

TANK!!

Nothing like playing the team with the worst pitching in the AL to cure what ails this offense!

White Sox lead 6-2 on the Twins going to the 5th, but 3B Kevin Youkilis is done for the day. Sprained left ankle. Eduardo Escobar pressed into service at 3B.

Your constant bashing of this guy is laughable. You better worry about your boy Beckham being able to hit enough to stay in a big league lineup.
I know you can hide bad defense in LF, but Viciedo has looked real ugly out there the last couple of weeks. Almost knocked himself out just now.
