Get in the car Thursday night and have the Score on, they are playing some tape of the Penn State head coach and other Big 10,12," stuff...goes back to Larrys show and Herb plays some gin blossoms for the out take "Hey Jealousy" which turns into Larry trying to guess the song and spending the next 5+ minutes talking about bad bands like the gin blossoms. that could be used for out takes/ lead ins, etc

Naming obscure bands like "the spin doctors" and laughing? great radio larry

5 minutes this month was perfect

"Two Princes" was just a less cool "Semi-Charmed Life." Almost the same riff.

Gin Blossoms had three great songs. Leery wishes he could've done three good shows.

Maybe I'm wrong on this, but I find it difficult to believe that a Homewood native his age would have trouble recognizing "Hey Jealousy." Of course, doing so would be a big blow to his considerable street cred.

As bad as that may be it is still better radio than hearing someone talk day after day about eating a god damn pie.

 Gin Blossoms played those 3 great songs and several others at some 1/2 marathon kick off party last Friday at ROOF. Couldn't believe it was them.

When did The Rock get a radio show?

Not that it means they were great or even good songs but I'm sure most bands would give their left nut to have even 1 song of theirs chart at any time let alone 3. Personally I didn't think the gin blossoms were that bad of a band for the time, I still give Allison Road a listen to every now and then.

Semi Charmed Life is not COOL

I mean, the first time you heard it maybe, but once you get to the DO DO DO part, all coolness ceases to exist

I disagree.

I was a big listener of that kind of music and even I can interchange Gin Blossoms, Better than Ezra, and The Goo Goo Dolls

Pretty sure it was all the same band

LoHo's right on the money about the WWE. It was a lot more entertaining when guys like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin & "Mankind"/"Cactus Jack" Mick Foley, along with hotties such as Torrie Wilson & Stacy Keibler were part of the act. I haven't watched WWE since those people went mainstream and Keibler in particular became an item with...George Clooney.

SHARK, I think you spelled M.ick's name incorrectly.

I had it right when I originally typed it, Newper. When it showed up on this board, the word "nut" appeared instead... I don't get it.

Following the train wreck that's "Bears All Access: Presented by Sports Authority" with Bears' linebacker Brian Urlacher & center Roberto Garza joining host Zach Zaidman @ 6P, Laurence has the nighttime SCORE @ 7P this eve on 670 The SCORE & 670thescore.com. "Ask Herb" is tentatively scheduled @ 9P.

I hope Roberto talks about his frozen sticky buns. I have never touched them myself, but I hear good things.

I know what you're referring. I've seen them at my neighborhood Jewel store, but have never purchased them.

Just for the fucking record here. Both the Spin Doctors and Gin Blossoms put out great radio hits. You dont change the channel when 2 Princes or Hey Jealousy comes on the station. Fuck you guys!!

My friend's screen name on AIM circa 2002 was a portmanteau of Barenaked Ladies, the Goo Goo Dolls, Dexter Freebish, and Matchbox 20: BareGooFreeBox.

Are you referring to those frozen buns with Roberto Garza's face on there? I've seen them at Jewel, but I've never bought them.
