WSCR 670 The SCORE may have just completed its 4th annual "SCORE Search" naming Steven Berger as the sports talker's newest weekend overnight host, but another radio station in Chicago is now searching for a similar "Talk Star".

That station is 89WLS-AM. The Cumulus-owned news/talk station has announced "The Next 89WLS Talk Star". It's another opportunity for aspiring talk show hosts to audition for a chance to host a 2-hour weekend show on WLS-AM at an undetermined date at the station's State Street studios downtown, complete with a limo ride to and from the studio, along with a 4-day, 3-night vacation to Riviera Maya on the Caribbean coast of Mexico along with the winner keeping his/her headphones from the show. I just spent the weekend with 100 or so of the most right wing people I have ever met. I imagine this contest would be something like that.
