I remember Dave Kerner was a SCORE Bears' beat reporter long before he went over to WBBM Newsradio as a sports anchor there. If you've heard him over the years, Kerner has smooth-sounding pipes. He's on my list of guys in sports media I'd listen to for hours at a time.

Yup. I thought it fell under RPB's WSCR radio rifts. They were chewing on Santo on a Friday and Olken came on his show on Saturday and went ballistic. I guess he has a child who has the sugar. The following week B&B had to explain themselves in calmer tones.

ZZ can't be overly critical because of his need to maintain relationships inside Halas Hall and with the players on the field....same with Larry. The Bears don't pay him in ducats but they do pay him with interviews, info(I guess) and access. No excuses for him, it's how the game is played.
