Iran: Israel won’t launch ‘stupid’ attack

ran on Tuesday said it is dismissing Israeli threats of an imminent attack against it, explaining that even some Israeli officials realized such a “stupid” act would provoke “very severe consequences.”

“In our calculations, we aren’t taking these claims very seriously because we see them as hollow and baseless,” foreign ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast told reporters in a weekly briefing.

“Even if some officials in the illegitimate regime (Israel) want to carry out such a stupid action, there are those inside (the Israeli government) who won’t allow it because they know they would suffer very severe consequences from such an act,” he said.

Iranian Defense Minister General Ahmad Vahidi was quoted by the ISNA news agency as saying that Israel “definitely doesn’t have what it takes to endure Iran’s might and will.”

I suppose Israel could drop one of those nuclear bombs (that no one admits they have) on Iran? Use the same reason we did it in Japan. I'm pretty sure that Jews born in Israel (or Israhell as IMU considers it) consider themselves Israeli and not just "a Jew."

And I think Israel has the operational range to carry out a strike on Iran. It's about a 2,000 mile round trip. An F-15S.E. has about a 1,050mile CR, so 2030miles total, add in some drop tanks, maybe some in-flight refueling and they could make it. The problem lies in Irans air-defences, how the other M.E. states would take Israel using their airspace and does Israel have the air assets that could keep up the pace necessary to finish the operation. In their fleet I think the F-15S.E./I is the only aircraft capable of hitting targets in Iran. Their F-16s won't have the range and the F-35's are a ways off. Possibly SpecOps in the country and UCAVS but Iran is a big country.

The problem is that you don't separate the government and Israelis. It's no different than if I said that Iranians hate Jews and want to kill them all or if I said that Middle Eastern Muslims want to destroy Israel. You'd think I was an uneducated racist, but you have no problem doing the same with the only country in the world that is Jewish.

That's why I ask. If "Israelis" are bad then where are the good Jews?
