If this lineup looks familiar, that's because it is. The only changes? Dunn plays 1B tonight & Konerko DH-es vs. Yankee righty Phil Hughes.

SHARK!, you earlier reported that Joba Chamberlain had been executed by firing squad. Are you standing behind your story?

Some sad news, fans. SHARK has learned via TMZ.com that tragedy has struck the Yankees family, as their relief pitcher Joba Chamberlain was chopped into little bits by the propellers of a commuter aircraft at Wheeling's own Chicago Executive Airport earlier this afternoon. I think its safe to say that the Yankees will be playing tonight's game at 'The Cell' with heavy hearts. No word yet on who will be called up from Triple "A" Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to replace Chamberlain on the active roster.

Cory Lidle is still allowed to fly?

2 former White Sox-ers, a former Cub prospect & a former Dodger are in the Yankee lineup this eve. They're listed in BOLD type. Here's how the Yankees lineup vs. lefty Francisco Liriano:

2 Derek Jeter SS (R)
33 Nick Swisher RF (S)
24 Robinson Cano 2B (L)
25 Mark Teixeira 1B (S)
22 Andruw Jones LF (R)
14 Curtis Granderson CF (L)
17 Jayson Nix 3B (R)
45 Casey McGehee DH (R)
55 Russell Martin C (R)

Starting Pitcher: 47 Ivan Nova (RHP, 11-6, 4.76 ERA)

SHARK!, do you have any comment about the tragic death of Joba Chamberlain by propeller and/or guillotine?

You are strangely silent about this, which leads me to believe that you know a lot more than you are letting on.

It's been quite sometime since the White Sox swept the Yankees in a three-game series here. Gotta go back to when George was calling the shots in the Bronx, Stump Merrill was filling out the lineup card & Mel Hall was DH. That was 1991.

That's true...Here's something else. The White Sox have already won this year's season series over the Yankees for the first time since 2003.

SHARK! is on the muscle!

He is beginning to remind me of Red Sox fans in 2004 who suddenly forgot their rightful place in the food chain.

Uh oh! The Yankees might have lost more than the game last night to the White Sox.

Bryan Hoch, who is to yankees.com what Scott Merkin is to whitesox.com, just tweeted the following...

Hoch: "Ivan Nova felt his pitching shoulder grab in the 6th inning last night. Sent to NY for tests."

Addition by subtraction

Maybe the Yankees can take Gavin Fraud out of town with them.
