Post the rumours if you got them.

I will start with the newly-minted Champions of Europe, Chelsea FC.

The Mirror is reporting that it looks like the Blues have beaten the two Manchester squads to the signing of 21-year old Lille playmaker Eden Hazard.

Looks like the fee is in the £32M range. Team also locked up goalie Petr Cech for another four years. I have also heard that Chelsea is offering Porto £30M for striker Hulk.

If they got both Hazard and Hulk that would be quite impressive. Both are great players.

Silly money spent? See 2011-12 Liverpool.

There hasn't been much in the way of transfer muppetry. The levels of idiocy will increase following the Euros and whomever the press install as the new false idols.

Looks like Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers has been tipped to take the hot seat at Anfield...Rodgers has also had managerial spells at Watford and Reding. He was also Jose Mourhino's reserve team coach at Chelsea.

Curious to see what our two resident Liverpool fans think of this move.

I have always trumpeted Pep or Jose, but this might, and I repeat, might be an inspired hire.

Time, as always, will tell.

I still think Pep is sitting out the season...Supposedly, he wants a face-to-face with Roman Abramovich to see about replacing Di Matteo...

Problem is, I read it in The Sun, so take it with a grain of salt.

Brendan Rogers is a decent hire I guess. His teams plays sort of a tiki taka possession game. FSG wanted a young manager who would work under a director of football. Martinez wanted full control. I was hoping for AVB. He at least won his league and a major trophy at Porto. Rogers and Martinez managed bottom half PL teams. But I am glad the club is moving away from this love affair with its past in sacking Dalglish and not giving in to fan pressure by re-hiring Rafa.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Roman Abramovich has his tail between his legs and is trying to get Roberto Di Matteo to take the Chelsea job. Sounds like Pep held firm and is going to take a year off.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... nager.html

I wondering if it would be a mistake for Di Matteo to take the job. Having the "Trophy with the big ears" on your CV has to mean something. I would think if Di Matteo told Roman "Thanks, but No Thanks." I'm sure he wouldn't be unemployed long. I know the players love him and he is an ex-Chelsea player but I don't trust Roman to honor a multi-year contract knowing he can make another run at Pep in a year.

I think if Di Matteo got the job...He would have to win the Premier League and Champions League next season at minimum.

Multi-year contract or not, if Chelsea goes trophy-less next season....Di Matteo is out the door.

Also, Uncle 'Arry's contract at Spurs has one year left on it...I have been reading that Redknapp and the Chairman don't get along and Spurs is dragging their feet to offer an extension. Could be another possibility in a year or maybe sooner.

AVB went to Spurs and signed that Icelandic player Liverpool wanted.

Park Ji-Sung left United.

Lampard rumored to the LA Galaxy.

Van Persie wants to leave Arsenal.

Chelsea are set to sign Brazilian wunderkind Oscar.

I don't see Lampard leaving Chelsea for the Galaxy this season. Next season, maybe. He is in the last year of his Chelsea contract. He has a loyalty clause in his contract and he gets a bonus if he sees the contract out. I have a feeling he is going to make the Blues release him on a "free" transfer next year.

The other problem is that the Galaxy already have three designated players. Goldenballs, Landycakes and Robbie Keane. To make room for Lampard. One of them will have to go. My guess is that Keane would be the odd man out.

I cat say much about Chelsea signing Oscar. Honestly, I've never heard of him.

So, Rodgers signed Borini from Roma to come play with him at Liverpool. Looks to be a decent young talent. Now, there are rumors of Andy Carroll being shopped around.

PSG signed Thiago Silva and Ibrahimovic from Milan. The Chelsea of France.

Modric might be leaving Spurs for Madrid.

Nice of my Reds to bring the academy team on the summer tour. If I had paid money to watch that shitfest in Toronto today I would be beyond pissed.

Those Caller Bobs. How does an Arsenal fan feel now? In the span of 12 months the team has sold Fabregas, Nasri, and RVP. And Song might go yet before the deadline is up. Maybe I'll call L. Wilburforce Holmes IV and ask him his thoughts since he considers himself a "gooner."

Pretty pissed off, actually.

But Podolski was a good pickup. AOC continues to get experience. Wilshire is getting into his prime.

The striker position is a little iffy, but we shall see.

The team is filled with a bunch of guys. Should still contend in the Premiership.

They are on ESPN tomorrow morning, too.

A friend of mine is a huge Gunners fan. He's still in the denial stage. He keeps trying to convince me (and himself) that Podolski is better than RVP.

Guess who might be coming back to he BPL...Didier Drogba and Nicholas Anelka...Seems everything isn't fine and dandy at Shanghai Shenhua in China

Not really a surprise...I though it was a stupid move at the start.

Drogba had a break from Shenhua and was at Chelsea's training ground at Cobham earlier today.

Torres will cry. Just when he thought he was finally the top dog and the savior comes back.

Liverpool rumored to be interested in Walcott. Keep him. Overrated British shower of shit who runs fast in a straight line.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see Drogba reunite with the Special One at Real Madrid. As long as he don't go to Barca.

Gotta love transfer deadline day...it has already gotten crazy.

- Andy Carroll is loaned out by Liverpool to West Ham with a view to make loan deal permanent should the Hammers stay up.

- Fulham accepts bid for Clint Dempsey from not Liverpool....Aston Villa...Liverpool may turn to Chelsea to get a loan deal done for Daniel Sturridge.

- Arsne Wenger may try to get Chelsea to loan Michael Essien to the Gunners. Sounds like if cash offers are made for Florient Malouda and Yossi Benayoun. They may be on their way out. Heard West Ham maybe interested in Benayoun.

- Nigel De Jong leaving Citeh for AC Milan. Deal is done.

- Chelsea is trying to sign another striker...Two names I have read are Andre Schurrle of Bayern Leverkusen and Loic Remy of Marseiole (hmm...That's the team Didier Drogba came from).

- Van Der Vaart is moving from Tottenham Hotspur to Hamburg.

That's all I have so far...Let the madness begin.

So, Liverpool all summer kept cock-teasing the signing of Clint Dempsey. It was a done deal. Then, they loan out the lump Carroll and lowball Fulham for Dempsey, who ends up going to Spurs. Now, we have three strikers: Suarez, Borini, and some kid Adam Morgan. Suarez, for all his talent, is a wasteful fuck in front of the net. Borini ain't done shit yet and Morgan is just a whelp.
