Doug Fister, RHP 7-8, 3.67 ERA

Saturday, September 1, 7:05 PM ET, Comerica Park
Francisco Liriano, LHP 2-0, 4.26 ERA
Max Scherzer, RHP 14-6, 4.13 ERA

Sunday, September 2, 8:06 PM ET, Comerica Park
Chris Sale, LHP 15-5, 2.81 ERA

I simply will not and cannot accept this form of White Sox level headed-ness.

He's simply a progression from my previous favorite, Rollie Fingers.

Now, I am really thinking Chas.

All the White Sox really need is one out of three. If that's the case, the Sox come home from Detroit with a 2-game AL Central lead. If they take 2 out of 3, it's a 4 game edge with an even bigger 4-game series at U.S. Cellular Field September 10-13.

What if they sweep?

If the White Sox sweep the Tigers, the Sox have a 6 game cushion coming home. If Detroit sweeps the Sox again at Comerica Park, the two teams are tied for first place in the AL Central.

The lineup is already in for Game 1 of this White Sox/Tigers' series. Here's how the Sox will deal with Tigers' righty Doug Fister:

28 Dewayne Wise CF (L) .269

14 Paul Konerko DH (R) .312
51 Alex Rios RF (R) .303
12 A.J. Pierzynski C (L) .285
24 Dayan Viciedo LF (R) .255
10 Alexei Ramirez SS (R) .271
15 Gordon Beckham 2B (R) .233
Starting Pitcher: 44 Jake Peavy (RHP; 9-9, 3.09 ERA)

As for the Tigers vs. Peavy:

14 Austin Jackson CF (R) .305
12 Andy Dirks LF (L) .333

21 Delmon Young DH (R) .271
26 Brennan Boesch RF (L) .245
13 Alex Avila C (L) .250

Getting tired of Peavy spotting teams three fucking runs each time he pitches. Asshole.

There is some bad baseball being played up in the D tonight. Both pitchers are garbage. Finally tie the game, and Jake gives it back right away. Bases loaded and no outs, and the Sox don't score. Another awful at bat where Dunn not being able to put a ball in play kills you, don't tell Bernsie that though.

Brilliant Sox strategy. Make Cabrera keep running the bases until his ankle blows up.

Well Miggy owns Hillbilly Jake. Thornton is just awful. Why bring him in with a tie game, lol. He hits Fielder to load the bases, then a bases clearing double, mercy. The Sox sure have pissed on themselves this road trip. Your leaders have been brutal.

Hawk needs to stop with the Jake is battling stuff. He may battle, but that's because of his own shittyness. You reworked your staff for another bad start.

They didnt rework the rotation for Detroit. Peavy got moved because of his eye.
