What's sad is that there are a lot of people who do exactly the same thing. I had a friend who, anytime the subject of politics came up, insisted that Nixon was the greatest President in the history of the US. His rationale?

"Well I got laid more when Nixon was in office"

Even pointing out that he was 25 years younger then, didn't have 3 extra bowling balls worth of belly fat, and his hairline hadn't receded past his ears, did nothing to shake his belief in the power of one Tricky Dick over another.

I think you would be a little quick on the trigger if you gave up on Anderson. There was a lot that contributed to his lack of success there. Like Rowand, if he works his physical and mental problems out in the minors, I would love to see him get another shot.
