Even though FOX Sports has the NFL twinbill Sunday, we're ONLY getting the 49ers/Packers' game at Lambeau Field as "America's Game of the Week" come 3:25P with Joe Buck, Troy Aikman & Pam Oliver on the call. That's due to a certain team in navy & orange that plays here...

CBS Sports sends #2 team Greg Gumbel & Dan Dierdorf to Soldier Field @ Noon for Colts/Bears. It's the only time of the NFL season that CBS has only one set of games to accommodate the Men's Final at the U.S. Tennis Open.

That Steelers/Broncos' game Sunday night should be very interesting, especially not just because Peyton Manning makes his Denver debut, but how many times Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth & Michele Tafoya mention Tim Tebow's name in the "Sunday Night Football" debut on NBC Sports, let alone on the "Football Night in America" pregame before it.

SHARK,

Letting the board know what games we are getting televised in Chicago along with the broadcast teams has been, and always will be spmack's gimmick. I hope you don't play reporter and try to take that bit away from him.

Play reporter? Huh...That totally doesn't seem like a thing Shark wants to do with every single post.

SHARK bit me this week. But that's ok.

Games we get in bold and blue. No doubleheader for Chicagoland.

Frank, SHARK had CBS Sports' Greg Gumbel & Dan Dierdorf getting Colts/Bears in NFL Week 1...2 weeks ago. Thank the folks at fangsbites.com for giving me the scoop.

Neither can Mac. I'm not sure the regular NFL officials are going back to work anytime soon.

That's great, SHARK.

Its still spmack's gimmick to post "in bold and blue" what games and broadcast in the Chicago area. My point is that he always post that, SHARK. Every year for every NFL week. Kindly leave that to him.

After doing almost nothing today besides watching ESPN all day long I would now be in favor of cancelling the season for a few hours alone with ESPN's Rachel Nichols. That is all.

2 bad calls against the 49ers already, not a great start.

I think the helmet-unsportsmanlike conduct rule is stupid, but that was a correct call.

No. Rodgers kicked it off. The defender obviously was trying to fix it and just lost control of it.

Fix.

We will agree to disagree. His helmet was slid up half his face by Rodgers foot.

He took both hands up to his helmet and flung it off.

Yeah, he wasn't gently taking it off, he threw that fucking helmet off...

Jim Harbaugh over Mike Singletary is my most definitive CSFMB victory.

Balderdash.

The young man simply doesn't have good hands. That's why he plays on the line.

I know I learned Randy Moss was on the 49ers, but that completely escaped my memory.

For the purposes of honesty, "Randy Moss probably isn't going to help the New England Patriots all that much" was my harshest defeat.

Every play the Packers rush the ball is a wasted play. Go air raid. Throw it 60 times. This isn't 1977.

If Randy Moss had fake-mooned the crowd there, I would have taken up a collection for the fine.
