I don't mind the fighting. I don't mind the lunatic fringe creating the appearance of fighting.

My dad would get tickets to bad Bears games in the early 80s. No one else wanted to go with him so I was kind of the default guest. Part of our ritual included getting there several hours before the game to park for free on the street in the south loop and going to a greasy spoon called The Surf. There was nothing special about the place. It was your typical greek diner. However, even at that early hour, the place was SRO with Bears fans. The fans were from every walk of life. It was a great place for people watching. I really enjoyed those days.

how bout we do this-all the sitations we've been refering to, if it's about a full time host (M&H, M&S, B&B, Holmes and [maybe] Grobber) it's worth discussing to death. If it's about anyone else, it's not. Jason, Matty, Finfer, Baldy, et al are just not worth this level of concern or observation.
