That was a MAME emulator (and other emu's like NESticle, etc.).

This is about the all-in-one interface that makes it completely seamless ... and of course all the games and whatnot, but the depth is beyond amazing as well (I admit I didn't know of some of the older ones towards the end of the video).

So, yes, he had something like that, but nothing this tidy.

That's cool as hell.

There is another gentleman on YouTube who made a purpose built computer, like the one you posted, but fit it into an NES and another in a SNES. Pretty cool.
