John Cena can sell a fucking PPV. That being said I won't be buying it, but I'll still watch it.

Well I guess the next couple of days will be big for Lawler, the bad part of the business who replaces him, could it be Striker, Josh Matthews, or possibly JBL.

I'm convinced it's a stroke. Cold had indicated he was responsive to light. We never heard at any point "Jerry is talking." Good he's alive obviously but this could potentially be a potentially a long road to recovery. Highly doubt we'll see him for a while.

They cancelled Pat Patterson Appreciation night due to Lawler.

I'm watching back from the match to see if I can see anything on Lawler. If it was Ziggler, there's no way I'd be able to figure out anything.

The sad part about all this is now WWE is retweeting every comment all their "superstars" are sending out. It's a little sickening that they are still trying to be the number one trending item even though one of their wrestlers/commentators is laid up in the hospital.

What exactly are you looking for on him? :?

Just seeing if he was grabbing his arm, speech prior to the incident, etc. There's plenty of signs. I FF'd through the whole PTP v Bryan/Kane match the first time through. I can't believe they didn't go to commercial.

No. Cause if it was, they'd have had Punk attack him while he was being wheeled out.

And Cole isn't that good of an actor.

And there's no way Vince would let multiple segments go by without mentioning Tout or Twitter.

lawler sounded weird and flaky saying that he feels sorry for daniel bryan..... then a pause and a funny voiced HIS PARTNER'S KANE.

that was a minute or two into it.

Damn. You can hear him snorting and then a camera shot from the ramp side and his chair was empty.

Anyways, back to the match. Isn't it obvious that Kaner and Bryan win and Dr. Shelby becomes their valet to the ring as tag champs?

I think it was more of a class of how he acted during it. It's nice to finally see him be a person and not some douchebag character that he has had to act like for the last few years.

If you sit there and think through the situation for a few minutes, it's either clear to you what stress and pressure Cole was having to deal with (never mind the usual dozen things he deals with in that position normally), or you're really, really dumb.

IT'S NEW JACK!!!

"HELL TO THE KING. IF HE ALIVE, I'D GO TO MONTREAL AND END IT MYSELF IF I WAS ABLE TO GO INA CANADA."

If he said that, I'd figure it could have been worse.

I understand what Keeping Score is saying.

It's weird that people would think Cole would act like anything less than a concerned friend.

You should be my manager. I need a mouthpiece.

And I need a codpiece.

This'll work out great!

Just sounded like people had bought into Cole the kayfabe guy versus Cole the real guy. I didn't need this situation to reinforce to me what a true professional and what a genuinely good guy he appears to be.

Fair enough. I wasn't directly saying you were a dope, just in general ... blah blah blah. I guess I just assumed all of that and something that basic never went through my mind .... which in no way whatsoever am I saying to belittle you or shine myself, just saying that I didn't consider something so basic .... I reckon, if anything, it's a slight tip of the cap to you, and what's wrong with that?

Anyway, now I would like to play Dr. Bernstein and enter my guess as: Cytotoxic edema. Actually, my guess is Ischemic brain edema, but this choice has the former along with a Vasogenic edema whose effects, unlike the former, are basically permanent, so I'm choosing the lesser edema/stroke by not opting for the combo plate.

Smith Hartâ@SmithHart1
According to my friend Jeremy Prophet who was backstage at RAW, Jerry was clinically dead for 20 min before being brought back by defibrilat

Confirmed heart attack.

EMT backstage saved his life.

@arda_ocal: Have heard now that when Lawler was brought backstage, the entire locker room was asked to leave the immediate area for the EMTs.

@arda_ocal: Initially, before seeing Lawler on a stretcher, many backstage thought a fight broke out that had escalated.

After I heard about the arm grab I think it was pretty evident what happened. Hopefully the EMT that didn't fuck around gets some recognition for reviving him. That being said I'm curious if there's brain damage.

Some fella's cellphone video of the incident .... it's not any great 'reveal', but it's what happened.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f60EWcaEt1g

I figure this probably won't be out there too long, so don't tarry.

The guy reaching his camera over and follwing the group carrying Lawler out should be punched repeatedly in the gall bladder.

Very sad stuff. Hope Lawler recovers from all this.

Never been a big Michael Cole fan, but that had to be a terribly hard situation to work through. I think he handled it about as well as could be expected.
