Wow ... this show is in turmoil apparently.

Do they have the balls to use this as heat on Punk? I mean, so long as he isn't dead anyway .... even Vince wouldn't do that.

(not advocating .... just one of the thoughts I had)

Yes, he would

How do you know this if you do not watch currently?

Or has that changed?

Hiram, I find it weird that you are trying to react to each update with a prediction of the specific medical issue and what likely happened. No offense or anything, I just find it weird. Carry on.

I watch sparingly. With Cole though, being the announcer and then that stupid email reading thing he did, you get a real good read on his character in like 2 minutes.

I just dont buy anything he says. He comes off as a terrible actor to me, in my limited watching

Nearly everything he says is fed to him from Vince.

Cole being a "bad guy" or a "bad guy" announcer just doesnt work for me.

I definitely agree.

The PBP guy is the good guy, and the color guy is the heel.

It's a formula that has worked forever.

He's Sean Mooney to me.

Can you imagine if all of a sudden Sean Mooney tried to be a "bad guy"?

Right.....and Coach was Roddy Piper compared to Cole

Maybe get Lord Alfred Hayes out to do a heel turn

I actually turned this on for a bit at the end. I have no idea what the storyline is so I was quite confused.

I thought Punk was a face not a heel.
I didnt know Bret Hart was dead and reanimated as a zombie.
However, I did remember that I never liked John Cena.

That's not Bret Hart. It's Bert Hart. Stu had him locked away in the dungeonfor years. He was unleashed upon the world after Bret died in 2009.

Cena continues to get a lot of crap, but I think he has been real solid the last few months and the segment at the end of the show with Punk was real good. Punk as a heel is working nicely.

Cena almost took it off the rails last night, but overall it was good.

Last night was the first true heel reaction Punk has gotten.

Yeah it has taken a little while to get there, but I think the future is bright for heel Punk, and the addition of the Heyman angle will only help that out.

I hope he recovers brain function fully. This sounds very similar to what happened to Michael Clarke Duncan. But Jerry had the EMTs pounce on him immediately while Duncan was at home with only Omorossa and probably sustained longer period of no heart function.

It only take a minute or so for someone to suffer brain damage when the oxygen stops circulating.

That would require a Ouija board and a seance.

Despite how bad this is, Lawler was at the right place when this happened. If he was in his hotel room or at some bingo hall indy show, it's unlikely he would have gotten such immediate care.

If he was at the ECW Arena, fans probably would have stopped the one or two medical people trying to help. Even if they got to him, one guy has Vicodin, the other a Pulp Fiction adrenaline shot.

I really hope Lawler's OK. He never drank. He never did drugs. In the wrestling industry, that's a thing. Should earn him extra quality years.

Speeps and I found the secret history of Bert Hart. If I had it, I lost it. It wasn't a pretty existence. It involved living under the dungeon for a period of time.

Is Hiram just SHARK posting under a different name for the wrestling section?? The cadence and word choices are eerily similar.

Went to high school with Stacy Carter and have loved Lawler since my Yute growing up in the Memphis area. Lawler put Memphis wrestling on the map. Hope he has a full recovery.

They have done the test and there is no brain damage. Don't know yet when he will be out of the hospital.

This will lead to Lawler getting his WrestleMania moment and winning the title.

Agreed. There was no need for Lawler to be anywhere inside the squared circle 2 weeks ago, 10 years ago or a few days ago.
