Gizmodo has a live blog running right now: http://live.gizmodo.com/

Rumors have been pretty true to form for the release. Larger display, three microphones (which I assume is best for conference calls), repositioned cameras, smaller connector ("Lightning").

Oh, and Maps now has turn-by-turn directions.

Apparently the new A6 chip is the biggest improvement on the internals. http://gizmodo.com/5942652/apples-new-a6-chip-is-smaller-lighter-and-mightier

And the pricing for iPhone looks to be rather consistent.

I can see the tech criminals salivating, "Can't wait to steal another over-priced cell phone!"

For sure pre ordering. Lighter, thinner, bigger screen, LTE, longer battery, better Siri, better os, nav, better screen, better camera... Compared to the iPhone 4s. Great deal.

2 major things it lacks are wireless charging and NFC. Neither are deal breakers for me.

It will be interesting to see if the new Nokia Lumia will compete. Specs are good, despite the shitty demo they rushed out to beat Apple. I think if they could have released it before this iPhone it could have made an even bigger dent than it will.

They should steal under-priced phones so they can sell them for more.

Not exactly, no turn by turn nav for the 4.

I actually think it's kind of lame. One of the best parts of iOS6.

What about the iPod touch? And will it make my iPod not suck so hard as upgrading to iOS 5 did?

iPhone 5 Features

Apple CEO Tim Cook introduced the widely anticipated latest generation of the iPhone at a press event Wednesday. Here are some of the new device’s features:

-Says things when you touch it, just like a real person
-Adjustable hand-strap
-Siri tunelessly hums when left alone for too long
-Plaid
-Makes a sighing noise whenever it passes older iPhones
-Frictionless no-grip casing eases transition from hand to floor
-Can hammer nails
-Is pathetic piece of shit compared to the iPhone 6

I think you fail to understand what a "hot" item is.

Been waiting for this for years, finally going to make the plunge now that its 4G on Verizon.

But, my only question is which version should I get? It looks like there are 3 different GB versions available. What type of use would warrant getting the one with the most GB vs the other two?
