If we hear about one of those Dells Ducks crashing into the World's Largest House of Foam, we'll know who's been drinking and driving again...

You should be required to drive back to EP.

Anyway, I hear the roads are all torn up over by there, so it may take you 15

hey! I had to go to fucking Cretucky or wherever the hell we were for the Manniversary...

Gilmer at Fairfaild are messed up a bit, but that is northwest of the course. :P

Doug,
All we got to do is roll down to Rt 45, take a right, and although the route designations change 3 times, make no turns untill we get to the course in beautiful Volo.

That's a first ..... A guy goes on I.R. for pulling weeds. That's almost as bad as pulling a rib from a sneeze.

Lay off the Allen Brothers and Scotch and the Pall Malls and get your fat ass in a Pilates class and stretch yourself out once in a while.

In my best Harry voice= Hey Mac, You make enough money to hire some Illegal Mexicans to pull your weeds.

I would imagine they will either offer partial refunds or re-schedule.

Haven't been listening to the show so this is news to me. I wonder if Mac feels stupid for making fun of Harry slipping and hurting himself on his driveway a few months ago.

Some of you guys really don't have much of a clue about how the body ages, do you? You are in for a shock when you turn 50, exercise every day, have a proper diet, think you're fit, and you are still suffering from a bad back, gaining 5 lbs. a year and have other ailments. Enjoy your clueless years while you can. I also have a bad back from yard work last weekend. It happens. It's called aging. I feel your pain, Mac. :(

Coast is exactly right. You whipper-snappers will be whistling a different tune in about 15 years or so. Enjoy it will you can.

50 MY ASS Coast , try 40. I hit the gym at least 4 days a week and try and eat right . You can throw all of that out the window as I went fishing 2 weeks ago and sat in a boat for 2 hours and fought with a Tiger Muskie for 15 minutes and the next day my back was shot. I had a hard time breathing it hurt so bad. I popped 3 Vicodin and didn't move off the couch for 2 days . It still hurts and I 've not gone to the gym in about 10 days and I feel sick about it . I'm still golfing on Monday but will try and take it slow.

The trainer at my gym said that people my age don't drink enough water(which I don't ) but that causes cramping and muscles to become tight and adds to many back problems and muscle pulls.

I hear you Ed. Things started going south for me at 40 too, but I didn't want to assume it was that way for everyone. At least you did it by challenging a Muskie. That's a helluva lot better than yard work (or lifting luggage or carrying a laptop bag, which have done me in more than once). Did you land the fish?

It's still unusable, Spaulding, but at least it's repaired and on the mend. I am now 12 months without swinging a golf club. That hurts more than the shoulder. Yes, KillerV, getting old is a humbling (and cranky) experience. You know you're on the back nine when you start comparing back pain and meds.

Nope , that's what made my back hurt even more. I 've never fought with a Tiger Muskie before but those fish are big and mean . It actually was pulling our boat . We got it about 3 feet from the boat and seen it and it was about 55 inches and fat . The line snapped as it dove under our boat . It's a hybrid cross between a Muskie and Northern Pike.I never heard of it untill that day .

People seen it later and said it was gobbling up baby ducklings swimming around the lake . Son of a bitch is crazy hungry .

Interesting topic change. A buddy of mine pulled in a tiger muskie at Twin Lakes in Palatine. Here is the picture of it - not as big as Ed's but it was big especially for that small of an area.

Sweet Fish Hawk . They are amazing looking fish . They lake I was fishing in was a small lake in Coal City with many inlits and you would not think fish that size would be in there but there are about 20 to 30 swimming in these lakes and inlits.

Ed that's exactly what I hear about backs.
I was told to drink plenty of water & to remove the wallet out of the back pocket cause it screws up your posture. I also ended up getting a new bed that's firmer & one of those Phiten bracelets.

There has been something that I have always wondered and it looks like you guys can tell me from first hand observation: was Abraham Lincoln really as tall as they say he was?

I will be at the golf outing and will participate in it if pain isn't too bad. Had yet another cortisone shot Tuesday. Didn't hurt the back pulling weeds (or pulling anything else for that matter). Hamstrings were hirribly tight after handing yard maintenance over the weekend. Back has been messed up for more than a couple year. Buldging disks (L-4, L-5), degeneration, thickening of the lower disks, right side dominant. Thanks for your concerns, but I'll be fine.

Glad to hear you're going to be fine Mac.

I'll look forward to your getting off the anti-grammar medication as well.
