Dude choked again in a big game. Does Emery want to tie his success/failure to this guy?

Worse Qbs have won super bowls...they over paid for this guy and the line sucks...by the time Emery fixes this crap the Defense will need a complete overhaul.

He wasn't just getting sacked, dude was getting his ass beaten back there.....he played brutal with the INT's, the line sucked eggs, the receivers did nothing to help and the coaching adjustments were non existent (how about a quick slant route?!)...thankfully it's not the 13th week of the season so maybe they'll wake up...

no. other games he has been pummled. much of the reason was because he was in a limited system. now he is not. he is free to escape and run. he couldnt last night because he sucks. he acted drunk. took him 5 minutes to decide what to do with the ball on every play. he was a disaster and i would cut his dumbass. fuck him.

Fucking Tom Brady screams at his players as much as Jay does. This whole thing is a non story. Webb desrved to get a fucking Code Red for what he allowed Matthews to do. If a small sholder bump is the worst that happens to him he should be lucky.

And quit referencing Olin Kreutz, he was an overrated bully that got lazy and quit on his team. Fucking hawaiian loser.

And why the hell do I care what a former defensive player thinks about Cutler. Go interview some of his current/former linemen and tell me what they say. I hate this 24/7 have to have a story bullshit. How about Cutler had a shit game and the offense looked like a pile of vomited up feces? Talk about that instead.

I listened to that interview and it was not a rip job at all. Listen to it if you care.

Brad Biggs ‏@BradBiggs
Right. Because comments from a former teammate who happened to be a captain are meaningless. Have a nice afternoon.

How did Brad Biggs respond to my CSFMB post via twitter?? I'm frightened... hold me.

Even if it wasnt a rip job it is bullshit. Watch a Pats game, Brady looks like a raging asshole sometimes. Peyton Manning does the same thing. The only difference is that they have a ring/s. Any talented person is going to be pissed if someone less talented doesnt hold up their end of the deal.

Are you using that as another example of someone being a raging asshat or are you calling bullshit about the Brady stuff?

If J'Marcus "El Matador" Webb was causing me to get skull bashed in for 2 hours, I don't think I'd be shy to bump him on my way to the bench.

He wasn't the only one. Chris Spencer wasn't much better, The SCORE/Dial Global Sports/Pro Football Weekly's Hub Arkush said this morning with Mac & Spiegs.

Hank, Kid mentioned he had his hat on already for Speeps, do you by chance think it was a raging asshat?

I've decided to ascribe nicknames to each of the Bears linemen. Let me know what you think -

J'Marcus "El Matador" Webb
Chris "El Matador" Spencer
Roberto "El Matador" Garza
Lance "El Matador" Louis
Gabe "El Matador" Carimi

Well, they all are matadors, let alone ticket takers. The Bears' offensive line play last night was atrocious.

IT IS NOT INSULIN THAT JAY CUTLER TAKES DURING GAMES

It’s supposedly common knowledge that Jay Cutler has type 1 diabetes. Few people would question such a claim because they don’t want to be appear rude, but perhaps some should because it is a lie. Jay Cutler does not have diabetes. He has Feline AIDS. This is another reason that the NFL is concerned about the truth getting out, because they fear potential liability issues related to an active player having Feline AIDS. Nevertheless, Cutler has it, though it is a treatable form of the disease.

KEYBOARD CAT IS FROM SANTA CLAUS, INDIANA

Coincidence? Hardly.

I loved it when the Bears acquired Jay Cutler. I loved the move & thought Jay was exactly what the Bears needed to become a great team. Sure Jay had a reputation as a whiny punk & a bad team mate, but the gu is talented & maybe he just needed a change of scenery. I was a huge fan of Cutler & didn't want to believe that his reputation was earned & accurate. I, along with many other Bear fans were wrong...very wrong. After last nights meltdown, I have one foot off of the Jay bandwagon, & the otherr foot is about to hit the ground. What he did last night is inexcusable & unacceptable & shows a complete lack of leadership skills. Leaders don't act like Jay acted. Leaders rally the troops when things get tough. Leaders are positive & keep things together. Leaders help others to elevate not only their game, but their attitude as well. What I saw from Jay last night tells me that he is a petulant immature punk. However, Jay had a chance to redeem himself during his post game press conference, & rather than accepting responsibility for not playing well, he threw his team mates under the bus & never acknowledged his own lousy play.
I hope that Lovie showed some leadership himself by sitting down & talking with Jay about his actions. Lovie should tell him that if it happens again, he's benching him. The other leaders on the Bears like Urlacher, Briggs, & Tillman certainly cant be pleased with Jay. Hopefully they too talked with him.
Cutler is the perfect example of a gifted & talented athlete who doesn't have what it takes mentally to take his game to the next level.

SH,
Your sport thoughts usually coincide with my own but I disagree on this Cutler stuff. I wouldn't say shit to him. The guy was getting his ass handed to him. It's been an ongoing issue since he joined the Bears. I really can't blame him for losing his cool. I'm more concerned with him "choking" in big games. Geez, can't he just have a mediocre game once in a while? There seems to be two extremes with this guy. Bears win next weekend and the Packers lose, they will be right back where they were after week 1.

Part of the problem is not getting rid of the ball though. Cutler's internal clock just doesn't seem to work as well the the best QBs. That can be just as important as a strong arm.

I don't think the problem is Cutler yelling at Webb.

I think the problem is Cutler had just as bad a game as Webb did and didn't take any responsibility what so ever.
