IT IS NOT INSULIN THAT JAY CUTLER TAKES DURING GAMES

It’s supposedly common knowledge that Jay Cutler has type 1 diabetes. Few people would question such a claim because they don’t want to be appear rude, but perhaps some should because it is a lie. Jay Cutler does not have diabetes. He has Feline AIDS. This is another reason that the NFL is concerned about the truth getting out, because they fear potential liability issues related to an active player having Feline AIDS. Nevertheless, Cutler has it, though it is a treatable form of the disease.

KEYBOARD CAT IS FROM SANTA CLAUS, INDIANA

Coincidence? Hardly.

I loved it when the Bears acquired Jay Cutler. I loved the move & thought Jay was exactly what the Bears needed to become a great team. Sure Jay had a reputation as a whiny punk & a bad team mate, but the gu is talented & maybe he just needed a change of scenery. I was a huge fan of Cutler & didn't want to believe that his reputation was earned & accurate. I, along with many other Bear fans were wrong...very wrong. After last nights meltdown, I have one foot off of the Jay bandwagon, & the otherr foot is about to hit the ground. What he did last night is inexcusable & unacceptable & shows a complete lack of leadership skills. Leaders don't act like Jay acted. Leaders rally the troops when things get tough. Leaders are positive & keep things together. Leaders help others to elevate not only their game, but their attitude as well. What I saw from Jay last night tells me that he is a petulant immature punk. However, Jay had a chance to redeem himself during his post game press conference, & rather than accepting responsibility for not playing well, he threw his team mates under the bus & never acknowledged his own lousy play.
I hope that Lovie showed some leadership himself by sitting down & talking with Jay about his actions. Lovie should tell him that if it happens again, he's benching him. The other leaders on the Bears like Urlacher, Briggs, & Tillman certainly cant be pleased with Jay. Hopefully they too talked with him.
Cutler is the perfect example of a gifted & talented athlete who doesn't have what it takes mentally to take his game to the next level.

SH,
Your sport thoughts usually coincide with my own but I disagree on this Cutler stuff. I wouldn't say shit to him. The guy was getting his ass handed to him. It's been an ongoing issue since he joined the Bears. I really can't blame him for losing his cool. I'm more concerned with him "choking" in big games. Geez, can't he just have a mediocre game once in a while? There seems to be two extremes with this guy. Bears win next weekend and the Packers lose, they will be right back where they were after week 1.

Part of the problem is not getting rid of the ball though. Cutler's internal clock just doesn't seem to work as well the the best QBs. That can be just as important as a strong arm.

I don't think the problem is Cutler yelling at Webb.

I think the problem is Cutler had just as bad a game as Webb did and didn't take any responsibility what so ever.

The Chicago Bears are trying to limit the damage to starting QB Jay Cutler, who may need to do some damage control of his own within the locker room.

Cutler was sacked seven times in Thursday's loss to the Green Bay Packers and ripped into LT J'Marcus Webb after one of the team's many failed drives at Lambeau Field.

Webb is keeping his job, for now, but the Bears will bench LG Chris Spencer in favor of Chilo Rachal, per the Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs.

As for any feelings Cutler might have sacked in his animated episodes? At least one member of the team indicated he went a little too far.

Bears CB D.J. Moore, a Vanderbilt alum like Cutler, said Monday (via Vaughn McClure of the Tribune), "It's unfair to be like that toward J'Marcus.

"I don't talk to Jay, but he knows. ... You just can't do that.

"But when you act like that, though, with your own teammates on the sideline, it's just something different that you normally wouldn't do. You might say it in the locker room or something, but to do it like he did, that's something different. It's just weird."

Of course it's also weird that the Bears can't seem to find a way to take safeguard their quarterback, who's been sacked nearly three times per game in his three-plus seasons with the team.

Still, maybe if Cutler killed his bodyguards with kindness, he'd take fewer bullets down the road.

I think whenever you have to preface your argument about your QBs play with "our line is terrible" and "we didn't appear to have a gameplan", etc, etc - that kind of torpedoes your argument as a whole.

When things go bad it starts with those around him. How that isn't obvious is to everyone is insanely frustrating. Really, I have no faith in the intelligence of fans in this town anymore.

its in his head too. he gets crabby and his mental process suffers. and now we know that all he really cares about is his legacy. its not going as good as he thinks it should so hes pouting even more instead of changing in ways he needs to.

edit- ha.. terry is talking about it now. "when times get tough, jay loses his center and he mentally cant find it"

exactly.

Again, Jay Cutler is the equivalent of Gavin Floyd. Lots of athletic talent with nothing upstairs. When shit goes down they cannot think their way through it or out of it.
They just fall back onto bad habits and fuck things up.
