Forgive me if I've told this story before, but when I was studying JLMC at Iowa State, I interviewed a columnits for one of the Quad Cities papers about the field and asked him for advice on someone wanting to get into it...

My wife majored in Journalism, she now does a fairly good job reporting what the kids did all day while I was working.

As for me, No.
Went to Rock Valley College for 3 semesters (Spanky :wink:

), then went to Kennedy King for a month or two, and was offered a job at Sprint PCS....it was my first "real" job where I could make it on my own. At the time, I was going to do both, but the training classes for the job were at the same time as my college classes.

I promised myself that I would go back, and well, 12 years later, I haven't gone back. I've actually contemplated going to , of all places, ICB. :lol:
