One of my biggest regrets was that I didn't go away to school, and get that "college experience". If I could go back in time, I would have loved to have gone to Illinois, Illinois State, or any of the directional schools in the state.

Nope. 1 semester at Harper. Dropped out to work 50 hours a week and party the rest of the time. Thought about going back and joined the army instead. Making my glorious return there this week.

Journalism degree
5 years

Actually having a journalism degree opened a lot of doors for me. Employers know that you can communicate effectively. My major was advertising and as soon as I graduated I knew I wanted nothing to do with that scumbag filled field. My first job out of school was at Ameritech answering phones on a help desk. I liked the people I worked with and they helped me learn about computers and I stuck with it. 14 years later I have a career

I thought this was just for undergrad.

I also got a M.A. From SDSU in 6 semesters and I'm still pissed I couldn't stretch it out a few semesters because San Diego is awesome.
