Caught a special afternoon version of W&S while taking a break from Matt Bowen & The Deep Middle Show.

They were doing The Cutler Show. He's really just a jackass. It's very entertaining.

Exactly. I was even going to say "like you".

It's amazing to have a quarterback talking about wide receivers and game situations, but sounding competent. We've never had that.

I liked the part where some guy texted that they should throw more slants and he wanted to know how many slants would be good enough and wanted to get him on the phone to ask him some questions.

That was good. I like when they asked him about Mike Tice play calling, Martz to go fuck himself, and Waddle down the middle. It's all excellent.

You know if they'd offer up their podcasts and mobile phone streaming for free, I'd listen much more frequently. They used to have them out there before the site was Bristolized.

Yeah, I caught about 15 minutes of the show while on my way to pick up a delightfully yeasty and crisp thin crust sausage and onion pizza from Candlelite. Much to my shock, I was highly entertained by Cutler's antics. Previously I had thought of him simply as a bilious jerk with borderline sociopathic tendencies. It was nice to see that he has quite a sense of humor. I'll definitely tune in again following the Packers game. Depending on how the season progresses, the show may become appointment radio.

I agree with the consensus. I thought this was pretty much a great success. I tuned in live on Monday, and was thoroughly entertained. Cutler actually provides some pretty good insight, and he's established a nice rapport with W&S. I definitely plan to tune in for future shows.

They need to ask him why he is so inaccurate, even when given time to throw. They could also ask him if his teammates get annoyed with him when he throws them under the bus, despite him being worse at his job than Webb was at his tonight.

He's very accurate with time. You seem to judge him a little harshly.

And you're spoiled by Rod's precision.

Cutler threw 1, maybe 2 inaccurate passes last night.

No. Like half his passes were off target. He had a terrible game. So did the line. Receivers not getting separation didn't help. But Cutler played terrible.

When he has time, he is accurate. That much can't really be argued.

Then again, neither of us is unbiased.

He's just lucky Webb didn't deck him or grab him by the face mask and pull him to the ground.
