It is pitiful that a 1st place team in the 3rd largest population center in the country can't draw 30K fucking fans or that the marketing dept after all these years still can't figure out how to garner the degree of fan support one would expect...

It is pitiful because a 1st place place team should be filling the ballpark.

They fucked up when they didn't build a stadium downtown and the franchise will never recover.

The White Sox are nothing more than a niche team with a marginal fan base.

A pity.

BTW, the Tigers are absolutely drubbing the Twins right now. It was 8-0 last time I checked. They're doing what they have to do. They're like scoring runs and pitching well and stuff. Apparently that's not very easy for our beloved Sox these days.
