Iowa's offense is a mess. Their new coordinator I think made it too complex for the receivers which leads to issues on that side of the ball. The defense played a great game overall forcing 3 TOs but apparently they needed to pitch a shutout.

This is as bad as the big ten has looked since I started watching football..the spartans are the only team that has a chance to be decent.

I'm still confused by this NU team. But certainly heading the right way. Might be the most "talent" I've seen in Evanston, but they are young. Seeing more true freshman on the field than I ever saw before.

Was relieved to see Iowa State beat up on WIU last night...doing exactly what you should do to a team from the Missouri Valley. This could have easily been a game that they looked past after last week's rivalry game.

Now to go find three wins in conference and make another bowl game.

On ESPN now . . . BYU just scored a TD at Boise State to make it 6-7 with 3:42 left and went for two . . . and didn't convert. Boise driving.

There are a couple of games on the ESPNs this eve. Georgetown faces Princeton on ESPNU, DIRECTV 208, this eve @ 6P in a better basketball matchup than football, while Louisiana-Monroe hosts Baylor this eve on ESPN @ 7P.

As for tomorrow, there are some real doozies in prime time. Michigan/Notre Dame plays on NBC5 & 89WLS-AM @ 6:30P, with Kansas State/Oklahoma on FOX32 at nearly the same time & Clemson/Florida State @ 7P on ABC7. Talk about giving the remote a workout!
