Mike Martz was with the NFL Network before becoming the Bears' offensive coordinator the last 2 years, but if I remember correctly, the Bears were reluctant to hire him once Ron Turner left for the second time.

RE: Tice... are you serious? What about Tice and his o lines from last year (and this year sorta) make you think he's good at all??? They're, and have been, pretty damn bad. I mean, MAYBE he's doing what he can with what he's got but the shuffling, the endless "adjustments" and everything else that went on on the o line isn't exactly screaming he's a "good" coach at all. And this offense, in a word, sucks. There's potential, but so far... meh. I'll give them time to gel before I come to a conclusion on the Ocord deal though, but so far, not so much.

They've rotated more coordinators than most HC's are allowed.

I think Lovie is a pretty cool dude in real life as well. The arrogance is just a cover for the bizarre paranoia that he has. Instead of giving stroke off answers he should be straightforward and say he is not going to reveal any information that would provide opponents with a tactical advantage...and that it is nobody's business where he vacations.
