They have done well vs. the Indians on the whole this MLB season, but I wonder if all the excitement following the win over the Tigers on that Monday makeup day may have also been a bad thing for the Sox.

Here's what pisses me off about the White Sox right now:

1. Lack of Quality Starting Pitching
2. An Offensive Dryspell (11 Runs in the Last 6 Losses)
3. Allowing an Alarming Number of Walks

Thinking about it more, all four of those guys would be dangerous to give contracts to:

-Youkilis had his bounce and the Sox caught it at the right time, but he looks done.
-anyone who signs Pierzynski for anything above his current salary will rue that contract. I fully expect him to return to .280, 10, 50 with a bad attitude about training younger catchers
-Floyd is a .500 pitcher with a 4+ ERA and now is showing no durability
-Peavy is going to get paid and I would never want to give him more than a 2 year deal

There are better and less expensive option than all four of those guys for a smart GM
