As @mortreport is reporting, an agreement between NFL and NFLRA is at hand and both sides will work to have officials working this weekend.

Not buying it.

This is some sort of ploy to make the other side look bad...

I thought SHARK posted a link that said even if there is an agreement today or tomorrow, the replacement refs will still work this week's game.

 Point taken, but even he generally doesn't fuck up the copy paste.

It makes sense though. There is a game tomorrow. If replacement refs work that game, then they should work the rest of the games this week.

Now wait ... I don't see how it's fair that they would have a gang of idiots work the Thursday night game, but then have the old salts working the Sunday games. That's not equitable, and I would pitch a bitch if I were the Thursday night clubs.

All or nothing ... don't see how they change gears between games the same week.

Schefter's tends to tweet a lot of nothing, too.

Baltimore/Browns this Thursday??

No one cares about those teams. Let the replacements work that game and get the real guys back so we can bitch about calls made by people we know.

I have Ray Rice on two different fantasy football teams. I care about the Ravens/Browns game tomorrow.

Just have Ray Lewis talk to the refs before the game. He will pump them up and inspire them to call the best game ever.

And you are correct, nobody worthwhile cares about those 2 teams.

Or he can just threaten to stab them if they make a bad call.

I wonder if "NFL on FOX" analyst John Lynch's remarks this morning on "The Dan Patrick Show" may have gotten the attention of the league & the regular officials. To coin a baseball term, Lynch came out swinging in the following remarks:

Curb the enthusiasm regarding a new deal with the NFL & the regular officials. The L.A. Times' Sam Farmer & NFL Spokesman Greg Aiello have tweeted that it's not a done deal...yet.

So are they gonna be back for tomorrow night?

If not, I agree with Don Tiny. They should wait til next week.
