So your September involves rooting against the Sox and for a high draft pick.

I'm glad mine involves rooting for a playoff spot.

We're happy for ya!

Go DETROIT!!!

Good arm but lousy control. I thought The Cub gave up on him kinda fast myself...

Peavy is gonna need to go at least 7 or 8 innings tomorrow.

Is Thornton the 4th or 5th pitcher of the night. This is absolutely maddening.

Which one of the 95 losses is your favorite? Mine was the Friday game against the Sox at Wrigley. Beckham homered off Samardzija in the 8th to break a 2-2 tie. Thousands of idiots cheered as the very home run ball that beat them, was thrown back into the field of play.

That was awesome.

My favorite loss will be the one that secures them the 2nd pick in the draft.

Wait til next year.

I never use the word lock, but if I have any plays, they will be in the wagering section.

I just discovered that on MLB Gamecast thingie, bases on balls are now sponsored by Johnnie Walker.

I wonder how many shots Cooper has had iunder the dugout induced by this performance?

The Sox have 100% earned their paltry attendance figures. Why? Because they are a wildly inconsistent team teetering between 4/5 place one season and first place like they did this year...until tonight.

If you considered this team to be a publicly traded company, who would invest in it? The Owner and GM make a lot of splashy acquisitions, but beyond that show no real business sense. They don't invest in the long-term.

Going to one game this year summed it up for me quite nicely. This team is not built for championships or for long-term success. They just don't have the infrastructure to be competitive for long.

The folks that don't show up aren't bad fans, they are just smart investors.

I have to admit, watching Sox baseball is not fun.
