To be fair cpdouche, that's like stumbling into the Bataan Death March and saying "Well, this is kinda dreary."

They're in the shift. Bunt it down the 3rd base line. Need a baserunner.

Ranger: The season is definitely not over although maybe it is. These White Sox have shown a couple times this year that they can come back from deficits but maybe not again.

Mealy-mouthed dipshit.

Before this series, I'd never heard of either Russ Canzler or Vinny Rottino for the Cleveland Indians. For those guys, they're playing for possible jobs on next year's team, very likely with someone other than Manny Acta filling out the lineup card at (Not So) Progressive Field. That being said, White Sox pitchers know who they are now.

Please stop with this ridiculously unimaginative pun. You've been doing this since 2009. The stadium is called Progressive Field. Just call it what it is and leave the comedy to Noisewater, Tiny, and TeleSam.

Sorry if this was discussed elsewhere, but Brooks Boyer deserves a WYC tonight for this bullshit:

“Over the past several weeks, we have had a number of our fans communicate their concerns with the game’s start time on September 25,” said Brooks Boyer, White Sox senior vice president of sales and marketing.

How many Jewish fans were complaining? You moved the game to 1:10 pm as a favor to them, and the resulting attendance was a disgusting 13k...don't you think the attendance would have been closer to 20k for the originally scheduled night game? I just don't get it.

What's the split between Jewish baseball fans in Chicago? My unscientific research says like 70/30 Sox.

That was the idea, OKC. What does Cleveland sports fans have to be Progressive about? The Indians? The Browns? The Cavaliers post LeBron? It really is (Not So) Progressive.

There will be good seats available next week when the White Sox & Indians wrap up the season in Cleveland. Seriously. Because the Tigers appear to be taking control of the AL Central, these last 3 don't look so important now.

This isn't even a semantically valid question.

The (Not So) Progressive line is supposed to be a play on words.

My point is that being progressive doesn't fit in the context of being a sports fan, at least not in the way you put it, which was (falsely) as a synonym for "optimistic."

We know. We all get what you are doing. Its just not funny. It never really was.

My cellphone is US Cellular. I have trouble getting a signal every time I am at that park. Should I call it U.S. (not so) Celluar Field?

Sandy Alomar, Jr. named interim manager...Hmmm...I thought he was mentioned for the White Sox job before RV got the job instead.
