This guy really cemented his reputation as an asshole. I'd have to think hard to think of a manager who did worse job than Valentine. His "handling" of the media has to be the worst in the last 2 decades of baseball if not more, not to mention the mutiny in the clubhouse. On top of that, he rips his coaching staff!

What a total idiot.

I don't know what was the last straw for Bobby Valentine in Boston. What he said about Kevin Youkilis prior to him getting dealt to the White Sox, supposedly threatening one of the hosts of the team's flagship WEEI SportsRadio, or what he said about getting "undermined" by his coaches prior to last night's finale with the Yankees on 'EEI...

Bobby Valentine should just go away...Period. He was terrible on ESPN's "Sunday Night Baseball" & wasn't much better with the Red Sox in his only season filling out the lineup card. He's so smug, pompous & an asshole!
