well, I was with you until that sentence. the Bulls CANNOT sign a needed free agent. The can only get what they don't need.

It doesn't start at 3:30P. Sum, the Bears/Jaguars game kicks off at 3:05P, 20 minutes before Broncos/Patriots & 2 other games on the "NFL on CBS". The Seahawks/Panthers' game in Charlotte, also on the "NFL on FOX", kicks off the same time as the one in Jacksonville. Not exactly West Coast football...

yeah, they haven't run it into the ground. they're just not a destination point for free agents like they had planned. It was a lazy move to sign boozer but that's the GM's fault.

Boston fans also complain that their team never signs any big free agents. I guess they've been run into the ground also.

they do? At least they've got a GM who can rape Minnesota because he's buddies with the GM, who was a former...celtic!

You didn't answer his questions at all. You simply provided additional BS for which he did not ask.

actually, I think their attendance has been up pretty good after switching to a new ticket strategy back in July. Saw an article about it a while back. Basically pricing their tickets based on demand.

That's not true. They needed a guy like 2004 Ben Wallace when they signed him. They just didn't get that version.

They badly needed a PF a couple years ago and the top three guys were Bosh, Boozer, and Amare. Boozer hasn't been worse than the other two.

You must still be stuck on 12 years ago when they promised they'd get Grant Hill and T Mac and missed on both. That's really the last time I can think of them missing big in FA. LeBron was a pipe dream that was never going to happen.

Guys, I don't know why Bears/Jaguars & Seahawks/Panthers BOTH kickoff at 3:05P Sunday unless to accommodate FOX Sports. How the hell am I supposed to know?!

explaining Terry Boers is about as easy as curing the common cold.

I think Cermak-Chinatown is also going to close, even though it's an elevated station and not a median station. Maybe they changed their plans.

Also, a caller earlier explained that Bears-Jaguars is a late game because Fox only gets one game this week and they needed something of value to give markets that have to take the late game over the early game.

They didn't miss on Vlad Radmanovic this offseason I will tell you that much. Right on target.

what's the last big name free agent they signed? They're the third largest media market in the states. For some reason, guys like Howard avoid the team like the plague. 2004? I wanted Rasheed or Marcus Camby. Either would have been far better than Wallace.

The Industrial Strip is now promoting that it is smoke-free. Does this mean the end of experiencing the Indiana Difference?

Howard is a mental midget and you cannot count the whims of an idiot as being a problem of the Bulls organization. The Bulls would have won just as many titles from 2004 to 2012 with Rasheed Wallace or Marcus Camby instead of Ben Wallace.

2007: Kevin Garnett. Wake me up when the Bulls get something that big.

Garnett was a trade. Ray Allen was a free agency signing.

Howard is yes, a mental midget. He also would make the Bulls with a healthy Rose an instant championship contender. So, if we're not going to win a title, let's just make stupid moves?

I think it was '06 or '07 when they signed Ben Wallace. They needed the '04 version. Rasheed was never a FA in his prime. He was traded from Portland to Atlanta, then one game later was traded to Detroit. By the time he became a FA, he was washed up and badly out of shape, as any Boston fan who was stuck staring at his moobs during one of many ill advised threes will probably attest to.

I'm not sure when, if ever, they even went after Camby. Not sure he would've ever been a bigger signing than Boozer though.

Howard wasn't a free agent either. He was traded and he would only agree to two teams because he is a dope. Does that mean that the other 27 teams in the league that aren't the Nets or Lakers are awful? Or does it mean Howard is a big baby that mangled his impending free ajency?

2007: Kevin Garnett. Wake me up when the Bulls get something that big.

Wait a second, guys. I thought the Celtics got Kevin Garnett in a trade with the Timberwolves back in 2007 and the folks in Boston were supposedly getting impatient with GM Danny Ainge prior to this deal. Al Jefferson went to Minnesota in return back then and is now in Utah.

Howard wasn't a free agent either. He was traded and he would only agree to two teams because he is a dope. Does that mean that the other 27 teams in the league that aren't the Nets or Lakers are awful? Or does it mean Howard is a big baby that mangled his impending free ajency?

my main point was that the Bulls can't attract stars. I don't think there's an argument for that.

The Industrial Strip is now promoting that it is smoke-free. Does this mean the end of experiencing the Indiana Difference?

The Indiana Experience also involves full touching IIRC. And I do RC.

They still can't attract stars, as much as players around the league would like to play with Derrick Rose.

Yeah, I misspoke. But name me a Bulls big non-draft signing.

Ray Allen was also a trade. Boston doesnt sign marquee free agents really.

If you want to criticize the Bulls for not pulling triggers on trades for Kobe, KG, or others, because they refused to part with Deng, thats fair. Thats been really my only big criticism of the Pax/Gar era. Portland had the same bad habit of falling in love with their draft picks.

Yes there is. Rose seems very happy and content here.

they fell into that pick and he is a Chicago guy. It's sad that he'll likely finish his career in Chicago without a championship. You're not really refuting my point with that comment.
