Obama believes in America.

Mitt believes God lives on the planet Kolob and wears magic underwear.

Another case of style over substance.
I suggest checking out factcheck.org to see the list of half-truths and falsehoods perpetrated by Obama and Mr. Clean Coal/I like Big Bird.

I guess we are no longer FB friends.

This may have been the worst performance I've seen. If you didn't understand anything they were talking about (This would apply to any undecided voter at this point) then you're going to vote for Romney after that debate. Even if you've already made you mind up you're probably reconsidering your decision if you were going to vote for Obama. I knew Obama was a terrible debater but I could have never imagined he would be so unprepared. It was as if he had been locked in a basement for 4 years and had no clue what he had done or what Romney had said. Not only did Romney lie at will (20% across the board tax cuts = $5T) but Obama didn't have the knowledge to call him out on it. Hell he didn't call him out on anything. No tax shelters. No 47%. No let GM go bankrupt. No businesses are people. No I like to fire people. It was as if he forgot about all the shit he says everyday on the campaign trail. He didn't appear to even know his own policies (Bill Clinton knows them and can sell them better). He struggled to put together a complete sentence and when he did he basically said nothing. Romney took the fight to him and all Obama could do is put his head down and take notes.

If you're a paid supporter or you volunteer you have to be questioning a lot of stuff. You work your ass off everyday for the man and he didn't have the decency to at least halfway prepare himself. It's because of your work and Romney's gaffes that Obama was in the position to close Romney out last night. He couldn't finish the deal and probably lost the election last night.

After last night I truly understand why Obama gets his ass handed to him in negotiations with republicans and others. He doesn't know how to take a stand or punch back and he's unprepared. Pathetic!

Nope, we are still good on Facebook. I saw your work, I didn't watch last night but I am hearing a lot of what you are saying.

I don't think Ivan's liking of Obama's debate skills affects the man's popularity. People who support Obama will still vote for him no matter what.

It's the swing votes that matter. Considering Obama's crew is already trying to make an issue out of firing Big Bird shows that he knows how to play to the masses.

All the things he promised, besides health reform, didn't come to pass. Yet people will still vote for the guy, since he's running against the "previous Administration....".....oops, I mean, Governor Romney.

The odd thing is that Barry never fought back during the debate. Romney would hammer him on a subject, like giving $90 Billion to Solar & Wind energy companies, many of who went out of business shortly thereafter, & Barry just stood there with a stupid look on his face. No response. Nothing.
I just don't understand how he took the beatings & never took a swing back at Mitt. Very strange.

"At last we come to it. This isn't a debate, it's a lynching. It's all about a white rich guy beating up on a poor black guy! President Obama can't stand up to hatred of the white man on his own! But there he was, he took his beating!!!

"I hope all you white Americans are proud of your man. He victimized Obama last night!!!! Obama needs our love and support!!!"

Has anyone, anywhere, at any time actually changed their mind on a candidate based on a debate?

Ross Perot picked up huge support after the debates in 92.

Can you imagine if there was a 3rd guy up there on the stage who wasn't lying through his teeth?

Yeah, wouldn't that be a thing.

I think he came off a little too pasive. But not nearly as bad as some are painting it. Romney basically changed everything he's been saying for the past year so I could see how it came across that way. The President still made his points and did a fine job...

He didn't have the killer instinct. That really frustrated me. He let Romney get away with lying for the majority of the debate. He made points but he didn't display any passion. Even his closing statement left a lot to be desired. If everyone watching closely followed politics I wouldn't have had the same reaction. He's lucky the unemployment numbers will change the story.
