You kidding right? The way things stand NIU would win at least 50% of the time.

What will they be ranked? 15? 12?

This week? They're 11.

You just said ND is the same as IU, Illinois, Minnesota, and Purdue.

Not me.
You.
Brilliant.

Haugh's usual overindulgent commentary... although when he does it on my team (and TSISB), I don't seem to mind as much.

An improvement no doubt...but not even close to a national power..and I don't think Kelly can get them there..I can barely remember ND being elite so anyone younger than me sees them as just another school.

Keep this in perspective. They beat Michigan at home by 7 pts with Denard turning the ball over every time he touched it. Remember what the class of College Football did to that same Michigan team week 1.

They are much better than the Charlie Weiss teams that couldn't beat the service academy schools but I wouldn't put them in the top 15.

None of this will matter after The U comes to town in a few weeks!!

Miami vs ND in a meaningful game... Is this 1992?

Everyone wrote off The U after K-State throttled them but it appears K-State is an elite team this year. Yesterdays game vs GA Tech was strange. It was 19-0 Miami...then 36 -19 GA Tech and then Miami won 42-36. Crazy momentum swings in that game.

Keep this in perspective - ND caused the turnovers. The defense is for real, despite what people that write books about college football say.

"The U" will get destroyed by ND.

With even a decent QB, they are a easily a top 10 team.

Like his 6 carries for 19 yds against K State?

ESPN doesn't have the game Saturday, but ShermanReport.com has learned that Chris Fowler, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Tom Rinaldi & Samantha Steele are headed to South Bend for "College GameDay" this Saturday morning prior to Stanford/Notre Dame.

It's fun to be somewhat nervous for a Notre Dame game again. Go Irish! Beat Cardinal!

If Stanford wins, I'd wager you'd want to go shoot a cardinal.

It would be nice if Kelly remembered he had a running game and not force Golson to pass out of endzone constantly.

Time to put in Rees, Golson seems confused....reminds me of the Michigan game.

Golson is holding the ball too long

Need to see Cierre Wood more, guy runs with power, not sure why he doesn't play more.
