My most intense argument over the last 12 months might have been that the Sox choked.

I argue intensely when I think I've got a good angle. Or if there's a significant dangle. Or when it's proportional to the heat of the meat.

All that aside, anyone calling for state sanctioned murder had better be prepared to be the actual person to carry out the sentence in my personal opinion. I'm no fan of murder, sanctioned or otherwise, and will never condone my state or my federal government murdering people in retribution for crimes committed. Killing people does nothing, in my opinion, to advance our society. I don't see it as being something that makes us more civilized.

I especially wouldn't condone it for such an emotionally charged case, as it's my opinion that emotions and rational thought share a see-saw relationship. One goes up, the other goes down.

You have to punish the crime. 3 years for each rape of a young child is ridiculous. It sets a bad precedent in the state of Pennsylvania.

I get that he will die in prison, but the sentence should have been life without the possibility of parole, not 30 years.

Maybe the judge was abused as a child, we don't know.
