.02 from beni (who is definitely know FavreFan). Skiles teams always start out slow. They have lost every road game (6) and won every home game (3). They will even this out and have a typical run late where they get close to .500 and obtaining a #8 seed. Jennings is not who I would choose to pair with Skiles. Not sure Jennings is going to be able to take him and that is a problem. Is Jackson any good now? So far the only up stats are his fouls and turnovers.

.02 follow up, beni still predicts Milwaukee nabs the #8 seed and may squeak into the #7 seed. New York has a pretty tough schedule in the final 10 games. Bucks/NYK on Wednesday after playing the Bulls is a big game. Philly has 8 road games left and shows no signs of getting their act together even though they are playing some patsies.

Thank God this is over, I am not sure if they are going to clean house or not. I feel they will bring Hammond back, if he doesn't take the Portland job, but I am thinking that Skiles will be let go. They are just not good.

Skiles definitely needs to go.

He has had 2-3 completely different rosters to work with, and he hasn't had success with any of them.

Scott Skiles is just not an NBA head coach. He's an NBA assistant. He's good with the x's and o's and in-game strategy, but he falls short in the interpersonal communication aspect. He just doesn't know how to not make people fucking sick of him. He had a bunch of good guys like Hinrich, Gordon, Deng, and Nocioni and even they tuned him out.

Bucks sign center Joel Przybilla

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks have signed free-agent center Joel Przybilla, maintaining an offseason push to beef up their frontcourt.

The 7-foot-1 Przybilla returns to Milwaukee for his second stint with the Bucks after beginning his career with the franchise.

The ninth overall pick in the 2000 NBA draft by Houston, Przybilla was dealt to Milwaukee in a draft-night deal in exchange for Jason Collier and a future first-round pick.

The 32-year-old Przybilla has averaged 4.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 580 career games split between Milwaukee, Atlanta, Portland and Charlotte.

Earlier this offseason, the Bucks added center Samuel Dalembert in a trade and drafted North Carolina power forward John Henson in the first round.

They might as well just go ahead and get fitted for their Championship rings, it's Ova!!!!

How good is Tobias Harris? Seems to me, they are pretty high on this kid.

6 to 7 long, tall, lanky big men who can block shots and rebound but look on with envy to the offensive game of Dan Bernstein.

2 guards who never met a shot they didn't like on offense or want to contest on defense.

And a bunch of stuff smooshed in between that.

:x you didn't answer my question. :(

Question 1 2012-2013 Season

How good is Tobias Harris? Seems to me, they are pretty high on this kid.

You do know you're interrupting my Sixers preview right?

Anywho, Tobias has a real shot at the starting SF spot. Delfino is gone. Mbah a Moute will miss the entire preseason and a portion of the early regular season. That pretty much leaves Dunleavy, Harris and Daniels.
Skiles has made it well known that his preference is to bring Dunleavy off the bench. Dunleavy himself prefers to come off the bench.
That leaves Harris and Daniels. Daniels is 31 and incredibly bad. He's also new to the Bucks system. He averaged 36% shooting last year, didn't make a 3pt shot, 1.7 reb, 1.2 ast and 3.2 PPG.

Harris had a great Summer League, continues to perform well in training camp, can provide better spacing by being able to knock down the occasional three, has a high basketball IQ, a strong work ethic, takes care of the ball and is working hard to improve his defense.
Last season was a challenge for Tobias. Between the lockout and then missing most of training camp with a medical condition, he was never really able to find his way.
Skiles took a look to the future during the last two games of the season in 2011-12, and Harris responded in a big way. Check out those box scores and you'll see what I mean.

Tobias Harris will start at small forward for your Milwaukee Bucks.

I apologize for the interuption.

I am kind of excited about this kid and thanks for the expert information that was copied and pasted.

:P

Bucks' broadcaster Davis joins WSSP as sports talker
By Bob Wolfley of the Journal Sentinel Oct. 10, 2012

The radio voice of the Bucks, Ted Davis, has taken on an added role - sports talk radio commentator.

Davis, in his 15th season as a Bucks broadcaster, has joined Milwaukee radio station WSSP-AM (1250) as a regular contributor to the station's 2-6 p.m. afternoon slot, "The Big Show," with Steve "Sparky" Fifer, Ramie Makhlouf and Gary Ellerson.

According to WSSP's program director, Tom Parker, Davis is to be in-studio twice a week to start and his days will vary based on his travel with the Bucks. Parker also said Davis will be available at times to fill in for Bill Michaels, who handles a 10 a.m to 2 p.m. weekday slot on WSSP.

Davis is scheduled to begin with the station on Wednesday.

There are a few interesting aspects to this hire.

First, there cannot be even a few, if any, professional team play-by-play broadcasters who also have a regular role on a sports talk station in their markets. Second, of course, is the degree of candor Davis is willing to bring to WSSP's air about the Bucks.

That should be some good radio Hawger. So long B&B!

Do you think Leroy Butler will still be on, or is that honeymoon over?
