No love lost for Larry but he didnt have to move to get his own gig here in Chicago. Can bust on Larry for lots of things but the dude has done pretty well for himself in the 3rd biggest market in the land, he didnt have to take a step down to do it.

I listen to him in the evenings so I don't hate him. But a full time real sports slot not bothered or preempted all the time would seem better to me. I wouldn't stand to be made to do that silly 25 minute thing between B&B and the Sox pre-game but that is just me. I guess I don't have Goff's details either so who knows.

This is pretty big news.

Good luck to Goff, this new gig will give him the time on air to really sharpen his blade. He wasn't going to get that in Chicago, thanks to Mac, so this new ATL gig will give him the juice he needs to make the next leap to prime time.

The CFSMB wishes you well in your future endeavours.

Why is that the general consensus? you guys dont think that he had enough of a tryout over the years to attempt to impress his bosses enough to warrant a full time gig here? how about that maybe he's just not that good at this and he already has hit his ceiling which isnt very high? Good luck in Atlanta just dont pair up with Ray Lewis at a strip club down there or you may have some xplainin' to do.

Good luck to Goff. As for LoHo, I can't stand his show and very seldom if ever listen for more than a minute.

So Atlanta will now have 3 sports yakkers. Curious to see how things will shake out. If Atlanta can support 3 then Chicago for sure support a 3rd. Especially since the current two are in a slow decline and need a kick in the ass.

Well, congratulations to Jason. I wonder how well Atlanta sports fandom accepts outsiders. I suppose they kind of have to, don't they? I'm also interested in how his brand of racially-fixated sports talk will carry over to Atlanta, where the dynamic isn't quite the same as it is here. "Brothers" and the things they do and don't do aren't really an abstraction in the South, you know?

I didn't see this coming. Congratulations Jason. I'm not ashamed to say I'll miss him, especially on B&B.

There will be shades of Bobby Hull's historic press conference at Portage and Main, as the station makes its big announcement at the corner of Peachtree and Techwood Drive.

This really sucks. We gotta keep Larry and Atlanta gets Goff.

Can someone contact this station and see if we can send Larry, Mully & Hanley down to ATL and keep Goff?

It's a move he wanted to make. He has his own show now. There are currently no teams the station cover, although that may change. When an opening happens here in Chicago, Goff will have the experience to say he hosted his own 5 day a week show. Good luck to him and I will be contributing to his show.

Atlanta is a city full of outsiders. Lots & lots of Northerners down there.
Taking a job with a new upstart radio station certainly has some risk, not to mention having to talk about the Falcons, Braves, & Hawks in a lousy sports city. I hope it works out. Jason was my favorite Score guy & I'll miss him

Oh goodness. I can already see the strays that are going to hit current Score employees. Let's just acknowledge Jason is going to be awesome in the new gig for one night. Destroy Mac and radio politics tomorrow.

 True dat.

Mostly unrelated, there's no escaping the fact in this whole cataclysmic event, that Lauerence Holmes did indeed break a story tonight.

Laurence finally got that 5th story. We are 200 strong here at CSFMB. Here us roar.

Good God man. You sir raise a great point. He does have a new main squeeze here in the big city does he not? Can he leave this violet in the mean streets of Chi town with Loho trolling for fresh meat? Enquiring minds want to know.

Definitely our loss, Atlanta's gain, and Goff's ship coming in (or at least requesting a tugboat).

The real reason is he secretly can't stand Heinrich.
