Radio host Eric Ferguson, of the popular "Eric and Kathy" morning show on WTMX-FM 101.9, paid a little more than $3 million for a new two-story, French country-style home in Hinsdale.

Ferguson, 45, who declined to comment about the purchase, bought it from a homebuilder in August.

As Elite Street reported in August, Ferguson on July 31 sold his six-bedroom, 6,000-square-foot mansion in the Lincoln Park neighborhood for $2.63 million. The buyer was Toby Moskowitz, a University of Chicago Booth School of Business finance professor, records show.

That's the one. Brian "The Whipping Boy" Paruch left The SCORE to become newsman on The Mix's "Eric & Kathy Show". It's one of the most popular morning radio shows among women ages 25-54.

Besides looking exactly like NBC Sports' Liam McHugh from the network's NHL & Notre Dame football coverage, The Mix's Eric Ferguson is a big sports fan. I've seen him on "Chicago Tribune Live" and he recently took part in CSNChicago.com's "Pat Boyle Podcast".

He's also a graduate of the University of Iowa.

He's acting gay on his show but he's the one running around buying a $3 million dollar house hanging out with football players and I'm pretty sure doing lines of coke off every hot soccer mom he can get his hands on(ok I have no idea on that last part but I would assume he does). So maybe he's the smart one.
