notre dame fans do make for a great nemesis...you have the south side irish contingent who barely graduated from high school but would drink to anything referencing an island their family left 100 years ago...the city on the hill contingent who think divine providence has had a hand in football success...the chardonay tailgating contingent who need something to do in the fall because their warm and fuzzies haven't been entertaining since June.

There was nothing that got Boers going back in the day like Notre Dame and its fans. This might be the shot in arm that Terry needs.

Maybe I'm alone in this, but I'm kinda "meh" about Notre Dame and their fans. Couldn't care less. Glad they are getting enjoyment.

It probably just comes off that way because you generally only hear from Irish fans the once a decade that they are good. But that's pretty much every fanbase.
