The lineup is in for the Yankees for Game 4 in Detroit. You'll notice there are 2 guys NOT in Joe Girardi's lineup.

31 Ichiro Suzuki LF (L)
33 Nick Swisher RF (S)
24 Robinson Cano 2B (L)
25 Mark Teixeira 1B (S)
27 Raul Ibanez DH (L)
12 Eric Chavez 3B (L)
55 Russell Martin C (R)
11 Brett Gardner CF (L)
26 Eduardo Nunez SS (R)
Starting Pitcher: 52 C.C. Sabathia (LHP)

I dare say there are more than 2 guys not in his lineup. You can only start 9 and there are 25 guys on the postseason roster.

This is the starting lineup for the Yankees. WOW!

This is FANTASTIC news! I am reading this as a definitive confirmation that the son of a bitch Alex Rodriguez will never again play for this Glorious franchise. The only drawback is there is very little chance of the son of a bitch being injured while sitting his thieving ass on the bench.

Rumors of the son of a bitch to the Miami Marlins have already started. Per ESPN.com New York, Jeff Loria recently talked with Randy Levine. Loria reportedly said: "Alex is Mr. Miami, it would be great if he played here for us." To which Levine is said to have replied, "You can have him." Wow!

Take your beyotch hunting to South Beach, you rat bastard son of a bitch!

I wish that thieving son of a bitch bastard had averaged .292/34/106 for the Cubs for a decade.

A-Ram put up a pretty good approximation of those numbers for the Cubs for close to a decade.

Thank you for your question about the thieving son of a bitch Alex Rodriguez and his April and May "heroics." Let us examine the facts that matter, shall we:

2004 Championship Series (Boston - Loss) - .258 average
2005 Divisional Series (Angels - Loss) - .133 average
2006 Divisional Series (Detroit - Loss) - .071 average
2007 Divisional Series (Cleveland - Loss) - .267 average

2009 - Very Good

2010 Championship Series (Texas - Loss) - .190 average
2011 Divisional Series (Detroit - Loss) - .111 average
2012 Divisional Series (Baltimore - Win) - .125 average
2012 Championship Series (Detroit) - .143 average - Benched

Thieving. Rat. Bastard. Son of a bitch!

Did you ever notice how baseball has the longest season and its playoffs are over the quickest?

I agree he is a rat bastard, but it's fascinating to me how just a few at-bats could change the attitude toward A-Rod. Right now I'm hearing he will never play another inning for the Yankees, he'll be traded to Florida, etc. Yet I can envision that if he pulled a Raul Ibanez in his next several games, all would be forgiven. If I'm Girardi, I put A-Rod and Granderson out there and just hope that lightning strikes and if I go down in flames, so be it.

I would agree with that last sentence. These guys helped to put you in this position, ride it out.

During his free agency few years back when he was making all kinds of noise about how great it would be to pitch back home in SF then going out and signing the richest offer on the table. His perogative? absolutely. Just dont go on about how you really wanted to pitch back in your hometown and then go and sign the biggest offer. Just another money whore talking a good game.

So you would have been fine if came out and said 'I'll play for whoever wants to pay me the most money.'

:D MAke that 5-0. Jhonny Peralta!! Now if only the Tigers pitchers can avoid throwing the ball into center field when they play the Cardinals this year.

6-0 and no Sabathia but Yankees still have this series in the bag.
