Dr Bernstein of all people should know that any doctor will tell you it's not just medicine, it's your frame of mind. If you find inspiration in Lance Armstrong, who cares?

This shit is genuinely angering me today. I really should PTFB. Terry is a fucking moron. Ask a nurse if anyone gives up the fight.

Crest, don't do that. Don't buy into that "he doesn't criticize the show" nonsense that a lot of people like to push. If one would check my posts, they'd see that I've criticized this show many times.

That call/segment was just painful to listen to.

They need to stop, now.

This kind of stuff just exposes them, even more, to be totally out of touch, ignorant, condescending idiots.

I wish they'd give the whole Lance Armstrong talk a rest and talk about other things before we all PTFB for "Bears All Access" @ 6P.

I should have just reposted the "cold miserable bastard" line.

And I am surprised to hear you say that.

My grandma gave up on cancer. Fuck you, Terry. It happens all-the-fucking-time. She was 68, and the cancer had spread all over. Fuck you hard, Terry.

Agreed, had to turn it off. I dont think Ive ever been so pissed. What an absolutely fucking asinine thing to say. My 35 year old cousin gave up after 3 years of fighting and treatment. Im sure we all have had experience with someone giving up. This is the ultimate WYC.

It's important to Dan for those people who used Livestrong as inspiration to know that everything they used to prepare their mind and find the fight needed to do the hard work to recover, it's important that they know everything they thought was a lie.

Important radio.

I'd guess most people have experience with it. You either beat it or eventually throw in the towel. You dont keep up treatments after a certain point has been reached.

Dan does a lot of work for a pediatric cancer charity, so I understand how he can be so angry about this, but his anger doesn't always make for good programming.

So if someone finds inspiration in Lance Armstrong, the guy that beat cancer, that is essentially a lie? Is that what you mean Doc?

So now Terry says that perhaps older people would give up, but not "30-35 year olds". So Terry, cancer isn't as rough on younger people? This is absolutely mind-blowing.

Until corporate sponsors like Nike, Anheuser-Busch & FRS Natural Energy pulled their sponsorships yesterday, I was in the minority regarding Lance Armstrong. The more they talk about this ad nauseum, the more I think Lance needs to step forward and admit he did wrong. Until he steps forward, the anger will get louder & louder.

They need to stop this or someone needs to go in there and tell them to change the subject.

Pontificating and lecturing about this subject isn't a good thing to be going. Now they are chastising cancer patients that looked at Lance as an inspirational person.

This is really bad, I have the stream up because I thought they couldn't possibly have sunk this low....but I was proven wrong.

This is an intensely personal thing, they needn't talk totally fucking stupid about it.

Just STFU you two fucking morons.

And this isn't an act, folks.

Well, he's not a good inspiration.

Haha, listen to Captain Courageous freak out as someone points out the bullshit of "driving the truck Dan Hampton drives." Thought he was going to hang up on the guy right then and there.

What anger? Where is it? I can't find it.

First, it's "B & B's" anger. Also, there are companies and consumers now wondering if Lance Armstrong frauded them out of millions of dollars.

Yep! All cancer patients need to toughen up and do like the brave radio legends, B&B, because they know how to lick cancer and fight the good fight!

Cancer patients are dumb and stupid and should have always known that Lance was doping! Cancer patients are needy! Damn them and their need for medical care and treatment by Doctors.

Jesus, just when you think they can't get any fucking worse....

"Matt Bowen should feed reporters questions to ask Jay Cutler."

No he shouldn't, because the reporters would choke on the jargon that Bowen was gavaging, leading them to puke out a question like "how did you landmark the Mike on the all 22?", leading Cutler to make a face like an elephant just took a shit.

Time to protect Cutler from the mean, mean media! And stroke Matt Bowen at the same time!

Too bad, they were they were just hitting their stride: explaining the "sensible" ways people should react to a cancer diagnosis.

SomeGuy, I am going to advise to step away from the computer, turn the radio off, and then a quick jog around the block. Upon returning grab the baseball bat and beat the hell out of the computer or radio so you don't have to listen again. You can thank me later for extending your life.

I PTFB'd, Hawg. But thanks for looking out for me, friend.

I work from home so I can't smash my computer but I will be going to the gym to pump some massive iron at around 5pm.
