Mike North, Dan Jiggets and a bad looking Jill Carlson for my Bears pregame?

Then have them sitting in bar height chairs so we get to see all of Jiggs, Norths pot belly and Carlsons saggers?

Then give me nothing in terms of info, except Mike Norths off the cuff idiotic comments?

Bruce Roberts not around?

They'll be lucky to finish 6-6.

better than Kenny McReynolds postgame. I'm trying to figure out how that guy has made a career of being on the periphery of chicago athletics

26 The U will be doing the heavy lifting again November 19th when the Bears face the 49ers in San Francisco. That means 2 more chances to see Jill Carlson, Alex Brown, Mike North, Dan Jiggetts, Jim Blaney & Kenny McReynolds doing local pre & postgame for the ESPN simulcast.

It could have been a lot worse. You could have had ESPN's Chris Berman referring to the matchup inside the "Norris Division" from his seat in Bristol, CT. This isn't hockey...JERK!

Jim Blaney's still alive? I thought he died when Fox Sports Net Chicago went off the air.

He is still alive, SJ. Jim's the voice of MeTV's local coverage of the "Prep Game of the Week" for high school football & basketball with Kenny McReynolds. I believe Jimmy's also one of the instructors at the Bulls/Sox Academy in Lisle when not calling high school football & basketball.

Jim Blaney did Blackhawks intermissions till Wirtz died, or maybe till like right after. Some minor story was made about his being made to leave.

Jim Blaney did Blackhawks pre, intermission & postgame when FOX Sports Chicago and its late predecessor SportsChannel/SportsVision only did Hawk road games back in the day.

I thought their pregame was great. Kind of like watching the news during a huge blizzard when the regular anchors couldn't make it to the studio, so they start cobbling a crew together. Those massive headsets were pretty fly, too.

Kenny McReynolds is more of a basketball guy than football. I wish MeTV would spend the $$$$ and get someone else to do high school football.

It doesn't matter what the sport is. Kenny is bad at talking.

Steve Kashul's still very much around, A7X. Kashul will be on the ESPN Radio 1000 AM/Chicago Bulls Radio Network tonight for the network's 2nd of 3 preseason broadcasts hosting pre, halftime & postgame for the Bulls' final home preseason game vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder, who won't play Kevin Durant & Russell Westbrook this eve. Kashul's pre starts at 6:30P with Chuck Swirsky & Bill Wennington providing the descriptions @ 7P on ESPN Radio from United Center. Those 3 will have the call of the Bulls/Pacers' NBA preseason finale Friday night @ 6P from Notre Dame's Purcell Pavilion (the former Joyce Center) in South Bend as well as all the regular season games starting October 31st vs. Sacramento.

As for Lance McAlister, the former CLTV sports anchor is a sports talk radio host & pre/postgame host on the WLW/Cincinnati Reds Radio Network at last check.

The girls he met on the internet probably said the same thing.

Well shit, if he's been reduced to working High School football on Me TV, he probably wishes he was dead...his career is, anyway.

He was the first one on Tv years ago to call the Boo "the boo aaahs." Pure genius. And he got his job years ago because he was in Andre dawsons posse. That is true.

"Kenny McReynolds" is like the medium-sized-media-market-est pseudonym ever. Sounds like he should be doing updates in Boise for Sparky in the Morning.
