Early congratulations to the whole lot of you. Just do me a favor and allow me to wallow in the cesspool that is the AFC East. Thx.

It is going to be a tough playoffs this year in the NFC. I would not want to go into Atlanta

People thought the same thing a couple years back when Atlanta had such a good record. I think they are soft. A good team will go in there and smash them in the mouth and dispose of them like the Packers did on their Superbowl run.

Yeah I'd feel much better playing Atlanta in the playoffs than NY, SF, or Chicago.

The only team that scares me is Green Bay. Bears defense is damn good, but I seriously doubt that the Bears offense can keep up with them through 4 quarters. The magical horrifying evil hoodoo that encircles the Packers and Rodgers against Chicago is unfortunately real, and barring a bevy of Packer injuries between now and the December game, I don't think the Bears can beat them.

I expect an L in December. The game that will matter is when they meet in Jan/Feb 2013. And I agree. Not sure they can beat them then either.

our offense still blows but our defense is starting to look special. might be the last hoorah for this veteran group but if they stay healthy they can shut anyone down.

So your expecting the Bears to play the Packers in a tough game in the Super Bowl?

Do you think the Bears can put up 21 points on the Packers?

When they played in the NFC champ game a couple years ago, Packers got TDs on their first 2 drives and then zero points out of the offense afterwards.

I just hope the offense can establish more than one receiving threat. I think that will ultimatley be their downfall.

I am dumb but not stupid. NFC Play in game if you will.

Of course if Seattle or anyone else wants to knock them out before that fine by me.

Desmond Bishop, Greg Jennings, Cedric Benson, Charles Woodson, B.J. Raji, D.J. Smith, Nick Perry, Jermichael Finley, Brandon Saine, Derek Sherrod, Sam Shields. How many more do the Packers need to qualify for the injury situation to be considered a bevy? :| :(

They already figured out how to do it once. Aaron Rodgers is a fucking machine.

Here are the Sagarin top 10 at this point (believe it or not...) they claim you can subtract the score differentials and add 1.95 to the home team in order to set what the real "line" should be....

Code:
  1  Chicago Bears           =  30.63
  2  San Francisco 49ers     =  29.96
  3  Houston Texans          =  29.91
  4  Green Bay Packers       =  28.03
  5  New York Giants         =  26.94
  6  Atlanta Falcons         =  26.19
  7  Denver Broncos          =  25.85
  8  New England Patriots    =  25.29
  9  Seattle Seahawks        =  24.93
 10  Minnesota Vikings       =  23.88

It is impossible for the Bears to win anything this year with a WR that does not catch passes at the right time in the game.

Season is over.

So.....Webb can't tie his shoe, Kellen Davis has trouble catching balls with 2 hands so he tries to use one, 5 starters lost to injury, 2 new OLine starters, a dropped 3rd down pass, 1st 2 plays is a sack and a lost fumble, and a dropped TD pass, and the BEARS still win by 18 points. When this team is on, they are one of THE best in the league.
