I ran out of gas! I--I had a flat tire! I didn't have enough money for cab fare! My tux didn't come back from the cleaners! An old friend came in from out of town! Someone stole my car! There was an earthquake! A terrible flood! Locusts! IT WASN'T MY FAULT, I SWEAR TO GOD!!!

One of my many social oddities is that I have a bit of a phobia about speaking over the phone. I HATE having to do it, i'd rather text or meet in person. I'm sorry.

I did, but the name on the voice mail was Bob Smith, so I don't know.

He probably wanted you to join him campaigning in swing states.

Nomination approved. I can't stand when people, who are never away from their iPhones more than 40 feet, forget how to answer the damn thing/text you back/email you back when you ask a simple fucking question.

They never are at a loss to use the their phone when they need something, but God for freakin' forbid they answer when you're the one needing the favor.

@ Bauer...I am bad about returning calls...and hate it when people blow it up, relax it is not a life/death emergency.

I'm the same way sometimes, but:

That's the reason. It's my cousin who calls me every time he needs the smallest thing. I need his help now, to paint a buddy's house before the holidays, which he already agreed too, and the fucker is dodging me. He's reaching ELITE douchebag status

That's odd, I figured you would be a fan of all types of communication.

That's annoying as fuck. So is just the simple question of "You going to be there Sunday?" for a family function or what not. I hate when people dodge trying to avoid work, but when they dodge a simple yes or no question?

Pisses me off.
