The worst thing about facebook is children. That's bad enough by itself, but to add insult to injury, is that new mothers for whatever reason get a massive thrill out of referring to themselves in third person as "mommy." My cousin's wife is a constant offender on this front, and it's drivin' me nuts (yar!). Mommy is such a burrito word to begin with. It should be outlawed. But going out of your way and speaking in third person to use it? Fuck you. Seriously, just fuck you.

Kids don't really understand possessive determiners or possessive adjectives til about 3 or so. You almost have to refer to yourself in the third person or them in the third person.

She might do it again when the kids get older and she is out of patience.

I'm not going to start a separate thread for this but I would like to nominate people who refer to vegetables as "veggies" and congratulate someone with "congrats". Not as bad as dropping "OMG" or "LOL" into casual conversation, I know, but it bugs the crap out of me nonetheless.
