They're only one segment in and it already brings back good memories of their old 9-12 show. It's nice actually to have the air breathe in the broadcast as they let each other speak; Waddle is starting to bug me with his insistence on making snide remarks every time silvy opens his mouth. especially when silvy's teased something and he's about to pay it off.

s: "okay i said in the last segment that such-and-such was going on, and i wanted to get to that--"

w: "you just want to kiss somebody's you know what don't you"

s: "no i want to get to this here--"

and with 2 minutes left in the segment, silvy gets to finish his thought. gets old.

When I listen to Silvy and Carmen i feel like I could be sitting next to them because they are only a bit older than i am but do a lot of the same things. Play softball, go to bars that kind of stuff.

Although funny i can't really relate to MJH's or Waddles lifestyles. I would be down and out if I took 7 girls to a sporting event and footed the bill for all of them.

I've mentioned the Waddle thing before as well. I don't know if he's playing the part of big-time broadcaster who's above working with someone of Silvy's stature or not.

I hope he's just playing though, then he can stop it and hopefully make a better show.

It's funny- a lot of people (myself included) complained about Silvy & Carmen and then we got phone dick & Rosenbloom and then all of a sudden Silvy & carmen were actually good radio.

It's no act. He did the same thing all the time when he was WGN with Kaplan.

Waddle and Silvy are far better than S&R but that's not saying much. I'm disappointed because I was expecting to like Waddle and I don't. I keep listening but I'm about ready to switch back over to 670.

Today was a HUGE reminder of how much I liked Silvy & Carmen. I always did and they are great 9-12.

I don't think Waddle tries to be mean spirited. I think he thinks he's funny. It is over the top. Silvy is an easy target becasue he says stupid things and makes g.a.y comments but Waddle doesn't always have to jump on it.

Alot of the times Silvy spends the entire segment arguing or trying to figure out what Waddle meant.

Well, I don't think I even need to say what I think about this show. This was my favorite show when it was on 9-12. I felt at ease and that I was talking to my friends. Probably some age factor that goes into it, but I think their chemistry is the best out of any two guys on ESPN 1000. My work days use to fly up until noon.
