Yeah, I also can't believe we're talking about what superior natural athletes black people are, Pappy Bernstein.

Trent Richardson squats 600 plus, benches 475, runs 4.4 in the 40, power cleans 365, and he weighs 210ish.

Of the 52 players that benched at the NBA combine last year, only four outpaced *me* in bench press reps. I am not a good athlete.

Has Dan mentioned the two players on the Thunder that were better than Harden ? He may not have been the best player on the Thunder but it wasn't like he was playing on the Sacramento Kings. Kind of Hard(en) to showcase your talents in depth when you have 2 of the best players in the NBA getting the ball ahead of you.

Yeah, but can he defend all five positions?

And when Teemu Selanne unleashes a wicked wrister pinging the top right corner over and over and over it's because its not his damn job.

Or when Rodgers feathers a 50 yard pass into a garbage can over and over and over it's not because its not his damn job.

Today's show has been outstanding.

Is Bernsy even aware James Harden's now with the Houston Rockets? Besides, can he name 5 Sacramento Kings?

This might be the worst show I've heard in a long time.

Obviously, Dan says things just to get a rise out of people, however, the ironic thing is that if a caller said that all NBA point guards would make excellent hockey players, that caller would be mocked and laughed off the show. I agree with the above posters that Dan's obssession with LeBron's body is getting creepy to the point that I feel the King should consider a restraining order when the Heat come to town for fear of a Lil Danny peeping tom incident.

Nobody's sure. He got to 475 and the coaches wouldn't let him go any higher.

There are 23 year-old 6'5" shooting guards that can handle and average 20/5/5 per 36 all over, FF.

Why would you want him? You can't throw a rock without hitting one.

Teary says that he can get you a James Harden. My question is: where? Which players, exactly, are similar to James Harden?

I've enjoyed not listening lately. I miss Jason Goff on this show immensely. Just hasn't been the same for me.

I don't know how you guys do it anymore.

This show is terrible. It's Mike North with a thesaurus.

OKC, I've gone elsewhere for my afternoon radio entertainment and information. Seriously.

Can't play point like Harden can, is average at best at attacking the rim.

Hub seems very annoyed by these two goofs today, and I don't blame him.

And here's the San Diego call that someone mentioned earlier in the thread.

I was in and out today but picked up the show again at about 3:25, where Dan was getting into a pissing match about hockey not being as "athletic" as other sports, and that it's not as athletic as basketball. Hockey players are normal guys; they don't make your head turn when they walk in a room. Okay. So did he say anything about baseball players mostly being normal-sized guys who aren't particularly athletic? I mean, I guess I'm sorry that hockey's skill set is not conducive to being a Greek god, but since when did we ever judge the merits of a sport on its "athleticism" alone? If that were the case, everyone would only care about track.

No one has the courage to say it, the intelligence to word it, or the temerity to withstand being shouted down and mocked for it. That being said, his racial tendencies are getting creepier than ever before.

Im willing to bet it would take Lil Danny much much longer to learn be able to accept a cross ice pass that is at his skates and kick it to the stick without falling on his fucking worthless ass than it would to turn around that 95mph heat or do any basketball move. Did he ever give his reasoning behind the NBA players are the best athlete bullshit?? What is he basing that on?

He's basing it on the time Donald Sterling took his date into the Clippers' locker room (where men go to work in their office) and said "look at those beautiful black bodies!"

He pleaded with the audience to watch a damn pre-game warmup to understand how great basketball players are. His bogus quote was something like, "Just watch a basketball player practice turnaround jump shots at the elbow. He'll practice the same shot over and over and over. And he'll make the shot 9 times out of 10. You know why he practices the same shot over and over and over? Because it's his damn job. And then he'll go into the locker room to have a cup of coffee and open his mail."

It was awesome.
