As it gets colder it becomes stout season IMO. Of the Irish Stouts I prefer Beamish. My more recent favorite is Bull Falls Bourbon Barrel Stout (Wausau, WI).

I'd be a stout drinker if I was a coffee drinker. But I no likey coffee, so I am waiting for someone to develop a beer that tastes like red bull.

Or I'll just keep drinking the IPA's, the wheats, the ales, and such.

When I would read beer reviews comparing the smell of an imperial stout to soy sauce I always thought that was bullshit, I mean coffee, tobacco, chocolate, I can buy that but soy sauce? Anyways I was making a soy sauce based marinade about a month ago and I'll be goddamned if it didn't smell like an imperial stout. And now I can't remember the last time I've had a stout.
